Craziest part is he's not even monitoring what he's doing - I don't see any headphones. He's recording the tracks blind and they link up perfectly. This man is a beatbox God! I sure hope whoever makes the Kaos pads is in serious talks with him for a spokesman deal.
He might not be displaying the manual dexterity to say, play guitar or piano, but he is showing he has great musical creativity - something not all 'traditional' possess.
@almostjalun That's entirely up to your mixer. If your mixer has send and return, then hook both those up to the KP3 and pipe signal from your CDJ through it. I just got a KP3 and setup was super simple. Hope this helps.

I bought my KAOSS PAD today and after 6 hours I am already producing perfect lines to mix up in the computer - very nice tool! it almost is an instrument... the kaoss pad 3 is the best choice of all kinds of KAOSS PADS there are it is an instrument, a sampler-looper there are just a few good things I miss: PITCH control SWITCH, at least 16 or 32 slice parts (it has only got 8) and at least 4x4 sample-pads; a larger screen and a PC - LIVE - SOFTWARE- TOOL XD please make one onpen source !!

@BreakTheWallsMusic YES, just connect the stereo line out jacks to an amp or mixer. it uses rca cables just like your dvd player etc (except the yellow video jack). so if your mixer doesnt have stereo inputs you can get cables that convert rca to 2 - 1/4"s or whatever you need. and you can sample audio in the same way, which has been sweet for me to sample from old video games and movies
not only controlling the sample banks in the kaoss pad but he can make them work together by turning them on and off, and recording new samples each time... it requiresa lot of time playing with that thing
After seeing Radiohead a few days ago and seeing this video, I ordered a KP3. My bandmates already call me the mad scientist with my analog synths and effects galore.They ain't seen nothing yet.
Beardyman's sold me on the Koass Pad! Now I've just gotta learn to beatbox and find £300! So many uses for such a great piece of equipment although I do think it would be better if Beardyman came as an add-on!
