Both the viewer and characters celebrated New Years because the episode aired near New Years in the year 2000, and they say that the year 2001 is the new millennium. A majority of the Yellow Rangers in the first Saban PR era were male in the original. The first time they didn't change it was in Ninja Storm (in the Disney era), with a female Blue Ranger and a male Yellow Ranger.
It's good that Shout Factory and other DVD comapany made a lot of Cartoons/Anime series in complete DVD collections over the years like Transformers, Power Rangers, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Miraculous Ladybuy and other animated films. But I still wished they have done something interesting for a changed like released some past Cartoons/ Anime shown in UK/USA/ Australia from the 90's, 2000 and beyond like: Cartoons: Blazin Dragons, Space cats, Starla and the Jewel Riders, The Addams Family, Creepy Crawlers, Mary Kate and Ashley in Action, Biker Mice from Mars 1993 and Gormiti Nature Unleashed. Anime: Cardcaptors, Spider Riders, Yo Kai Watch and Ultimate Muscles. It may sound a lot to wished for but if you have some favourites Cartoons/Anime memories from your childhood like me then you would understand from what I'm coming from even though it's unsudden if it even going to happen in the future. I know a few of them were released into DVD in the past but none of them were in complete DVD collections like Transformers and Pokemon. I think it's about time that Shout Factory and other DVD comapany should think of making them into DVD because that could make them successful. But maybe not on Blu-Ray as some of us like myself don't have a Blu- Ray DVD Play
My favorite ❤️ episode was the special finale. That’s the one in which consists of a compilation of the Sentai shows that came before this one. Including the first 13 shows that I haven’t even seen yet but intend to.
I was surprised when I found out that this theme song was sung by a female singer. If anyone asked me I'd have thought it was a man lol. Regardless she went full on at it! One of the best openings of all time.

Timeforce, Wild Force, and Samurai are the few Power Rangers that are almost 1:1 adaptation since they retain most of the plots intact even down to the final battles. Altho some changes do exist, but the major stories remain the same.

The paint on the helmet is tinted so actors can actually see through them relatively easily.

Why not do both? That’s what I did with RPM and Go Onger as they are show with opposite directions in story but I enjoyed both of them.
