    In the different parts of the famous Disney classic invariably called Tiny Car or Little Car, known for its starting number 53, the well-known gray-white body color, the tricolor from front to back and of course the idiosyncratic character of the cheerful Volkswagen model. A racing car with a mind of its own. In the movies, the story writers allowed Herbie to drive independently. But how was it done? In a new episode, Autovisie editor Sjoerd van Bilsen shows you the secret of the "reverse Herbie". How did the film producer leave the Beetle behind? The elaboration is simpler than a radio control of the compact sedan.
    Episode 192 is a sequel to Part 115, in which we tell the story of Herbie and show how Herbie could drive without a driver. With the help of an original film car, we explained the secrets of the role prints "Herbie the love bug" (1968), "Herbie Rides Again" (1974), Herbie goes Monte Carlo (1977) and Herbie goes Bananas (1980). The four copies are part of a Dutch collection. The collector has managed to get a fifth official Herbie. The copy is capable of reversing. Sjoerd van Bilsen shows you how the film producer realized this in this episode. The filmed car took part in the first two parts of Herbie, but in its current form, the Beetle featured in Herbie Rides Again.
