I find it hilarious that at 7:53 Cornifer's story is about how he was ambushed by Maskflies, who are passive enemies who run from you if you get too close. This means that Cornifer was so unintimidating that even Maskflies did not see him a threat and started attacking him.

For your knowledge, dashmaster is the most broken charm in the game (after wayward compass). Its ability to dash downwards straight into spikes gives you a great advantage in parkour and helps in EVERY situation when platforming.

especcialy when youre in the path of pain and you have to pogo and dash at almost the same time
@SoulStealer Playz it made me die about 1997 times! It even helps path of pain speedrunners, it makes them have 999 more attempts than neccesary!

I'm always amused when I see people fight the two baldurs on hard mode by standing directly in the middle instead of just fighting one at a time by standing to one side or the other.
Watching choc hit the oomas even though they kept exploding on him was an... interesting experience
Seeing Failboat as Cornifer was a pleasant surprise for me lol
Great video, but word of advice, retrieving your Shade is very important, and is top priority, because
1. You can store 33 more soul (what you use to heal and cast spells)
2. If you die while your Shade isn't with you all of the geo from that previous life is permanently lost
I've fallen into that acid for too many times
You havent truly played hollow knight unless you have fallen in the acid at least 5 times

I also had beaten pantheon 3 on pc with 103% but my computer broke down and stopped working so I started my journey from scratch and I’m currently in deep nest with all abilities
I gotta say I'm really loving this series as it's not just Choc's playthrough but also a series too with the other RUclipsrs voice acting and the animations for the dialogues, it certainly is very Unique!
Also remembering about the starting points of Hollow Knight, you can really feel the difference of when you first start playing the game without knowing anything and then exploring the different areas when you are fully equipped, I remember I always disliked having to go through the Deepnest for like 4 to 5 different times when I had already cleared it not because I have arachnophobia or that it wasn't a well made area, simply because of me not wanting to be there for longer than I have to.
As of now I'm still trying to get my courage up in order to try and complete the Pantheon of Hallowsnest
I'm glad to see more big youtubers play Hollow Knight.
I do want to see how you will survive the Pantheons and Path of Pain. I wish you good luck in the future.

I love hollow knight so it's good to see u play and struggle ur way through it and power on. The fragile charms I don't use until I go to grimms tent thing to get the unbreakable ones
With Hallownest Vocalized just dropping, I would've loved to see some of these VAs as those characters lol. Also when I first watched this, I was like "huh weird cloth's VA is masc" but COMPLETELY didn't notice that Hornet did. Alpharad is so good it didn't even register to me LOL

This is amazing! It has got the feeling of a guy trying Hollow Knight for the first time, but also has some animated voice acted sections as-well.
a tip for geo farming: use the swarm charm you get from the first shop that way you can continue your slaughter and maximize the amount of geo you'll get despite hazards or it falling into another room

This series is a great idea! I’m glad you’re flying through hollow knight again when I decided to pick it back up as well fun to watch alongside playing.
As a Metroid lover, I wasn’t sure I was gonna like this game, but man, do you have to finish it. Metroid will always have my heart in the genre more than any other game but I can’t deny this game is the best the genre has to offer

I played this game a lot and beat I stopped for a while because I was doing another ending, but this video is tempting me to keep playing.
Despite its Sans look, Dashmaster is actually NOT the most broken charm in the game. The most broken charm is easily Wayward Compass. Anyone who uses it is sure to beat any bug in an instant.

9:40 I always use the term "mantids." Technically it's not accurate, since it only refers to Mantidae (the largest family in the mantis order), but it's a lot less awkward than saying "mantises."
This video convinced me to get this game. So far so good, after I deleted my first save and started over knowing things, that is.
I died too many times with a lot of geo on me, had no decent charms and no notch upgrades. Kept getting bodied by the mantis lords and brooding mawlek. I was terrified to take on the soul master.
But, I started over and prioritized my purchases better. Still lost to the mantis lords like 2 dozen times, but once I started taking my time against them, not getting greedy, I beat them easily in a couple of attempts.
After that, the game started making much more sense. The soul master and brooding mawlek went down in 2 and 1 attempts respectively.
I have seen some of the other bosses and I know I will never beat this game, but I am proud of myself for these first 3 bosses. Excited to see how far I can go.
