Great Tutorial! Quick question: Unfortunately, the hierarchical select filters seem to show ALL terms, even the empty ones, while a classic select filter doesn't. Is there a way to make the hierarchical filter hide the empty terms?

1- jetsmartfilters can make hierarchical filter with radiobutton ? or only work with dropdown type ? if yes how ?

Hi! 1. You can use only the Select filter type and only for taxonomy.
2. Unfortunately, there's no such opportunity.

Hi. Can I lay out all of the filters as buttons, so the user can quickly toggle on the filters that relate to their search without scrolling dropdown menus and being limited to one selection per dropdown category.
If so, how do I style the buttons and layout to my preference? For example, for each category of filters to be displayed at different positions of the page. For example, the parent categories are displayed on the line above the children categories and given differing styling properties.

What if you want to allow customers to choose multiple brands? The select filter only allows one at a time, and the checkbox filter does not have hierarchy option or any option to minimize/expand the list. Tks

I have created multiple categories and sub categories but still there is no hierarchical option available while following this tutorial. Please give us more information on how to use this filter. And PLEASE slow down. Parts of this video are in extreme fast motion.

Hello! A hierarchical filter can be created for the Select type only. I leave the button to appear the Label active, but only the main Label appears. :/

Hierarchical ? I just can't understand it. Where in front-end drop down select menu the hierarchical categories are displayed as hierarchical ? With nested child categories (indenting) for example ?
Hello! You set the sequence of categories hierarchy on the back-end, so that on the front-end, when you select the first category it allows to choose among the sub-categories, which refer to the selection you've made.

It would be much clear for the beginners. The meaning of "sequence of categories hierarchy" can be explained only with examples. Simples ones. I do not use woocommers. Please provide more examples within JetEngine.
For me hierarchy is for example:
parent category
- > child category
- -> grandchild category
I did not see (visually) any of these in the tutorial.

@@Crocoblock Thanks for reply! I've just manage to do with different taxonomies but I was trying to get it work with one taxonomy and the category inside it. Jet Smart Filters are awesome!
In future versions , can select filter provide one taxonomy as hierarchical just like the tutorial did for Woocommerce products categories? Lets say one taxonomy as California, then cities of California are as child directory. When we filter select Calfornia as first filter, then second level filter will only shows cities belong to California.

Totally agree. It makes far more sense to be able to filter down the sub categories, rather than simply by individual taxonomies. You don't need heirachical filters to achieve what is shown here, just need to put in 3 separate filters which actually gives the user more flexibility to be able to find, for example, everything that is red. I love jetplugins, but there's too many limitations in all of the plugins so far that you are still better off coding things yourself.

I tried this and somehow the Listing archive with search filter did not work.
tried to setup this way.
1. Made the 3 Taxonomies as Hierarchical
2. Create the filter as hierarchical
3. Applied the filter on Archive
3.1 It can detect the country,
3.2. It can detect the city
3.3. It can detect the specialty
3.4. But result No Data Found
All the CPT have complete taxonomy...
