Best part is, they synergized... For an ultra fantastic weekend at the movies. In a bizarre way, they both "got better" because they opened the same weeked and played next to eachother. Hollywood's "counterprograming" actually benefitted the audience and the products. Ai hope they come to their senses and give the WGA and SAG AFTRA what they want.
If both movies do well, and even if mission impossible does extremely well, then that would show how much audiences have superhero movie fatigue, and if the success of these films is really big enough, then that could shift Hollywood's focus and dependence away from superhero movies. This would then actually be huge for the industry with the diversity of films but will lead to better superhero movies, because they would no longer work as a cash grab with poor writing and bad cgi. The filmmakers behind these titles would realise they'd actually have to write a cohesive, more complicated story with better developed characters and improved cgi in order for superhero movies to stay viable.
Eh, it doesn't really have anything to do with "the superhero fatigue." Look at GOTG 3, it was a success. The success of these 3 movies is because of: - The Barbenheimer meme - Tom Cruise's name - Christopher Nolan's name - Barbie's pre-established fanbase
Three great movies succeeding shows that they are great, it has nothing to do with superhero fatigue. If y’all are tired of superhero movies, stop watching them. But no, y’all keep going to see them and then complaining. When will you learn?
