  • Running Technique is a forgotten element of running performance. As a result, many distance runners spend so much more time focusing on what training they're doing than on how effectively they're using their energy as they run. In this video, Tyson shares a couple of strategies to help you know what to look for when you're trying to improve your running technique.

I shall learn to have a better style once they start
judging races according to their beauty. So long
as it’s a question of speed, then my attention will
be directed to seeing how fast I can cover the ground.

      They're beautiful words.
I don't think it's a surprise that the fastest runners are also almost always the most beautiful to watch. For example - can you name current distance running world record set by someone without beautiful running technique?

i find it so hard to get rid of my heelstrike. I can run quite fast and well with my current technique but i feel like its limiting my potential to improve and also causing a lot of preventable injuries like knee pain and ITBS

Yeh transferring from heel strike to mid foot and front of foot strike was a lot easier on my joints, however i needed to strengthen my calves for abit before I could fully pull it off

My running is ugly but I don't care because it's starting to getting pretty. I have naturally good form but I'm too out of shape to do it. I'm also a good dancer when I'm 30 pounds lighter.
