Confronting Anti-Blackness | NPT

While we often hear the words “racism” and “white privilege” in today’s discourse around racial justice, “anti-Blackness” seems to get lost in the conversation. To rectify anti-Blackness, it is imperative to understand and be able to identify the ways it manifests. This discussion will help us identify anti-Blackness in our everyday lives and discuss ways it may be confronted.

It’s great to have conversations like this. We also need to realize the dynamics of bullying. If an aggressor is not made to have consequences they will delight in getting free lunch money from you on a daily basis. We need to implement laws and individual actions (lawsuits, self defense etc.)
Like other racial and social minorities we need to stop trying to be liked and be respected instead.
