NUFC Fan in peace and old enough to remember Man United's rise under SAF. Been to Old Trafford twice in the early 90's. What a place it was then. To see Old Trafford like this is criminal. Ronaldo called it right.

Utd fans protested them in 2005 before they even arrived, and everyone ignored them.

Totally agree Ste about the end of season awards. This shouldn't have been cancelled as the women have won their first major trophy which is huge, I took my daughter to Wembley and we loved it. But seeing that Gremlin Glazer there shaking the hands of the team like he cares!

@@soso-V12 its the academy for kids. but the office block where fergie worked from is a disgrace. the pitch too doesn't look like they use it anymore. I remember when the first team used to train there. i was surreal to see them going for a run passed my house.

I'd vote for ANY political party that put it in their manifesto that they'll force sell assets (businesses/sports clubs etc) that were stolen using leveraged buyouts and ensure, via legal edict, that the owners don't get a penny before the sale covers the original debt and interest paid on the loans since they were taken out.

Spot on about the Glazers. Until they are gone nothing good will ever happen again at Man.Utd. The scenes after the Arsenal game with the leakages were embarassing to watch.Don't they realize how dangerous it is especially the leakage in the opposition changing room. If I was the opposing manager and saw that , I'd tell my players to evacuate the room because I don't want any of my players electrocuted. It has got to the stage where I don't care who the manager is, he will always get a free pass from me while the Glazers are in charge.These scenes were the biggest wake up call ever to oust the Glazers.The fanbase has to stop bickering and put our differences aside and focus on getting those scumbag Glazers out by any means necessary. We want owners who care.

The fanbase had the best chance to unite in the past year and a half when they announced they're looking for offers, all we got is a few protests which have been tried so many times already.

@@looptimelapse ultimately I agree with your point that, if everyone pulled their money away and made it clear they wont pay in until the glazers leave, that they would leave.
But there are many reasons why not though:
- season tickets are already paid for. Not going to games wont make a difference in terms of income
- high volume of tourists who dont care about the protests
- match going fans who do care about the protests, but are in circumstances where they feel going to the game is the right thing to do (e.g. a relative is visiting and its a rare chance to watch utd together, etc).
- matchday tickets are only a small portion of overall revenue, so would take years and years of it to have the desired affect.

I think the awards night should have excluded the first team, and just celebrated the women’s and under 18s. Rewarding our first team with anything sets a bad precedence for celebrating below par performance of our primary team.

The Premier League is very competitive. To argue that just because it's unlikely a newly-promoted team can't win the league therefore it's uncompetitive is really bad logic. Competitiveness just means there are multiple teams competing for the prizes (the league, top 4, top 6 or even staving off relegation) which there are.
