It’s not that Ret is bad. Is that the MDI/Great Push players who raid for Echo don’t like playing the spec/class. Ret is way better than Dev/Aug Gingi just hates ret to play
definetly, ret is the best spec in the game, the rank 1 guys just get bored playing it :) Go show them all the power of ret by getting rank 1, i believe in you bro :^)
@@XBorlaugX nothing to believe in me…. They didn’t get worlds first mainly because they didn’t play Ret in the most import phases of the raid like all the other guilds. Many MDI teams play ret this season. Echo isn’t even in it. And yes you are right Ret is the best spec
@@SymbianBlack MDI is not the same as TGP. MDI is for quick lower keys. TGP is as the name says "The Great Push" where they push as high as they can. Ret is great, but it is not the best. It has poor ST damage, but does have great burst. There's a reason why the top % for IO scores are not running it.... You obviously don't know what you are talking about because pros will play what is meta whether it is boring or not.... Right now the meta is Prot Paladin, there's NO reason to bring a Ret Paladin too since you can get better damage w/ better buffs for the group elsewhere..... A Prot Paladin provides the same buffs as Ret. As of now, the meta is Prot Pal // Prot Warrior -> Dps: Aug Evoker // Enhancement Shaman // Frost DK // Assassination Rogue // Balance Druid // Frost Mage. But true meta rn is Frost DK or Assassination rogue, Enhancement Shaman, & Aug, Resto Shaman or Disc Priest....... The highest Ret is 3316...... The highest Frost DK is 3473.... The highest Aug is 3473... The highest Enh Shaman is 3473... The highest tank is a Prot Paladin at 3470... The highest healer is Disc Priest at 3473, then a Resto Shaman at 3448..... The jump between 3316 -> 3473 is an INSANE jump.... So no, I think the pros choose these classes for a reason.... Ret is great for lower keys, not so much for high-end keys.
I have watched some super sus players I know on my friendslist swap to ret and they're suddenly gaining tons of IO because it's completely brain dead and overpowered. Kinda sad to watch people get a free ride, but what can you do.
