Is this your truck or company truck. I work in dubai and i have my own truck(all commercial vehicles are registered with company names). Here the road are wide open and one trip is just like 1800-2200kms(round trip to Kingdom of saudi arabia). Here weather is very very hot(we take breaks after every 200-300kms or else tyres blow away in hot weather. We don't have taxes here in middle east and with some savings we make good money. Hope,if u pay taxes,you get total benefits.
Unfortunately it’s illegal here. 😄 People do put smokestacks on for cosmetic purpouses, but the fines would probably be very very high here for a complete straight pipe. 😴

Were you changing gears(driving in manual mode) or adjusting the retarder levels??
I mostly drive automatic in the summer. I might have changed gears a few times, but usually adjusting the retarder.

Most peope drive with company trucks here, and so do I. For me it's easier and luckily it's not so hot here. 😄 Very cool to hear tho. :)
