Previous reply is trueish but i think it has more too do with that it's hard for a mic to pick up vocals over a drum, drum sets are LOUD that close up. Gunil does occasionally sing when there is little or no drum but not often.

besides the drum set being so loud it’s hard for mics to pick up vocals, drummers also basically set the pace for everyone and sometimes singing can throw off the song if the drummer missed a beat (usually drummer have lines when the drums slow)
