jype debuting a band group in 4th gen is one of the best things ever. they might not be the most popular, but the fact that they're a band helped them stand out much better than dance groups that are of course increasing and increasing each year. what i like about bands is that each member has a set role, there's no reason for one to be less credited and fans don't fight about a member not getting a line cuz not everyone necessarily should.

I think that for a band (in addition, an instrumental band) that came back from a long break from playing, and not immediately built their platform like any group, they are very popular. every cover of theirs achieves a lot. of course, their ranges by definition are much lower than kpop groups, but I think that will change with every month. it's been a long time since I had such a feeling that someone will achieve a lot. looking at them from their debut - I give them a few years and they will be superstars, they are something innovative and groundbreaking. I think they are the ones who can break through the bubble, because they are something fresh on the market. They are very talented. they are something fresh even for the k-band market (in my opinion). they are a bit like a k-pop idol group, but at the same time totally not, and that's what's cool. in addition, their music is not only very ambitious and very good, but they are also able to create something under the "mainstream" something catchy. to be honest, i missed them a bit in the k-band market, because as much as i love a lot of bands, i needed a stronger sound. after their return from the hiatus, i have the impression that people were confused because they didn't know them, i have the impression that the "overload" era is sort of their second debut and people are trying to figure out who they are. additionally, they are also controversial in the sense that people see them as idols, but they are not used to idols who don't dance, which makes them not quite sure how to classify them. in addition, now for the last few or so years there has been a terrible fashion for groups that do more hip-hop music, because it is more catchy, so a rock group is an interesting alternative
They are getting popular. They won 2 Mama Awards so that gives them more recognition 🙂

на самом деле понятно почему они не популярны в Корее. Корейцам не нравится рок и подобная музыка. сравнить хоть со стрэй кидс, они вообще не популярны в Корее, за то хорошо продвигаются в других странах

Well they are a kband which usually aren’t as popular as kpop idol group. But as a villain, I believe that they will be much more popular within a few years. And who knows, maybe they can be the ones who will bring more popularity and attention to the kband industry ;)
Just checked them out today. I still dont understand how are they still not big. The bassist has a very incredible voice which stands out very much.

The talent that these guys possess is just beyond the level of imagination. Every moment I'm stunned by them. With their every song, every cover and live performances they grow. They've become true professionals in such a short time. Couldn't be more proud of them. The instrumental that they arranged for this song is deeply applaudable. I can't even find enough words to describe my appreciation for this piece. Just awestruck 👏🏻
This is such a MASTERPIECE.
The vocals are out of this world, I'm honestly speechless at how versatile Jooyeon's voice is, he keeps getting better and better with every new performance they do; and same goes for Jungsu!! Their voices compliment each other so amazingly! Jooyeon's voice fits this kind of genre so well, while Jungsu's isnt the kind of voice you usually find in rock, but the way he uses it adds that peculiar color to the song, that warm and melodic touch that makes everything sound even better and complete.
Jiseok and Seungmin are incredible too!!! Multitalented kings both of them - great at singing, rapping, playing instruments.... our all-rounders boys, I'm so proud of them.
Junhan is my boy and I love him SO MUCH and it's such a pleasure to see him shine so much while playing!!! The final part of the song?? With that guitar??? I'm???? Like, go off king, lemme hear you!! And he looks so comfortable now while playing, the way he moves and everything, he's becoming such a good perfomer!!!! Proud of him ;^;
And Gunil. GUNIL OH MY GOD. He studied drums and IT SHOWS. I'm no expert in drums ofc, but damn i'm in love with the way he plays, and the way you can hear the sound of it so well, it really carries the whole song. He's such a professional already, I'm so in awe of him.
