Love! That neon jumper you knitted is so pretty and the size/shape/silhouette is really lovely on you with the jeans. All your knitted makes are just beautiful! I'm yet to make a cardigan but it's on my list, maybe when it gets cold again here. I liked the shawl draped over your one shoulder and then if you had a shawl pin, pinned on the other shoulder. like a cape. That looked lovely. Totally made sense that you wanted it to wrap around you. It's so beautiful. I don't miss those long teaching days...but so rewarding. So awesome to see your past student's performance! Very cool!! x
Thank you Faith! Being a pinafore wearer, my cardigans get soooo much wear! I should invest in a shawl pin - it really would help me get wear out of this shawl. It was sooo lovely to see my student performing "in the wild"! Very exciting indeed! 🥰
So enjoying your me made May videos Sarah. You are really developing your personal style. Looking forward to more, esp for the cold as I like about the same latitude as you just on the other side of the country. ❤
Thanks Jeni! I am glad you have enjoyed the videos. I agree - I definitely get a sense of my personal style developing through this kind of reflection!
I agree with you about the Freya tops. I have lots but would never dream of wearing them without something covering them. They are a great layering piece and I think they fit in to your wardrobe really well, Sarah.
The jumper looks great with jeans. I agree that it will look great with a skirt. You could get a scarf clip to close the new wrap to hold it closed. Love your style and how you put your outfits together. ❤
Thank you Deb! Yes I'll have to get one of those clips - I love wearing my shawls so that would come in handy! Thank you for watching and your lovely comment.
Another great week. You’re getting colder weather, we’re meant to be getting better weather but it’s turned to winter again 😂😂 the shawl is absolutely gorgoeus but I can see it would be tricky to wear. Wrapped around your neck works well though!!! Have a good week!
Thank you so much Rachael! Oh I've been feeling for the people waiting and waiting for their weather to warm up! We have been so lucky with our beautiful crisp weather here. I do love the shawl and definitely want to find ways to wear it! Too much effort and $ spent not to! 😆 I hope your days become sunny and warm soon!
I was just analyzing your Freya neckline, and going to ask you how tall the band was, and then you pulled out the other half... exactly what I do with mine 😂 Beautiful makes! I especially love the brightly coloured York pinafore. It really popped .
Hi! This is something I have thought about but realistically I think layers are more practical for me. I need to be able to easily remove / add warmer layers as I go between different spaces / outdoors. I do think some of them would look pretty like that though!
Did you do anything to make the sleeves more loose on the Agnes top? I've noticed that most people's sleeves look almost snug below the ruching, but yours don't. They look almost loose, which is more the way I like my sleeves.
Hello! No, I just made the Agnes according to the pattern. It's possible that underneath the ruching the fabric puffs out a bit, giving them the looser look. 😊
The neon colour pooling on the neckband of your hand knit jumper is 🤩!
Thanks Lauren - it's very fun isn't it!? Must find more opportunities to wear that one...

Ah hahaha! Yes I find the neckline just a bit high if I don't fold it over! ☺ Thanks Nancy, I love that York too!
Have you thought about wearing your sweaters under your York pinafores and Ora pinafores? Would they be too hot?
