That dovestone looks amazing on you! The accidental pattern placement looks brilliant. 🤩 Awww look at him in his read sweatshirt. He is growing up too fast Tamlyn 😍
I also just bought the Xoe pattern. I have some Guthrie and Dhabi Chicacheetah fabric in the pink colourway and possibly also in the blue. That plus some meet milk black French Terry and voila!
Wow Tamlyn you sure did alot of sewing and they are all lovely. I love the patterns and fabric. The color blocking is so adorable. Love the two fabric choices together.
Taylor’s top looks great on him & love the red sweater - can’t believe how grown up he looks. Love all your other makes & you have certainly been a busy bee.😊
Hi Tamlyn, thanks for your video. I've had the Hope dress pattern for a couple of years (from a subscription box) but didn't think it would look well sewn up. I changed my mind when I saw yours on Instagram and gave just finished making one for myself. We're pretty much the same measurements and I made the size 8, it fits really well (I also omitted the back opening because it easily pops over my head) x
I have just made my first Brindle and Twig pattern. It's a babygro ( onesie) work a full-length top. I made it in the cutest sea otter fabric from a German company who makes the softest fabrics. It's for the granddaughter I didn't think I would live to see. She's due at Christmas and she will be the most precious Christmas gift❤
Love the Dovestone Dress! Didn’t know the pattern or the pattern company. Sadly nothing for the current weather, but I am going to put this on my list for next year. Just have to figure out something to make it wearable with a bra with straps…
Loving your sweatshirts. That alpine fleece looks so soft and warm. I am hoping for vouchers for my birthday. So I get some alpine fleece and matching ribbing. 🤩
Hi Tamlyn lovely makes! Your Donny is beautiful- I made a toile and it fits perfectly. However, I never wear it as the material is so boring. You’ve inspired me to just go for it and make it in a special fabric now. Also love your wedding outfit - stunning! Taylor’s sweatshirts are super cute. I’m struggling to find Super Mario stretch fabric for pjs for my grandson - any ideas please? Where do you buy fabric for kids? Enjoy your jarrah - you’re so good at matching colours and fabric to patterns 👌❤️😘
Thank you so much for all your kind words Sue, I really appreciate it. To be honest, most of my kids fabric comes from 1st For Fabrics. I also like a business called Ginger Lily Bugs. I haven't seen any Mario fabric but I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I do x
@@SewnontheTyne thanks so much Tamlyn! Looking forward to my fabrics! I’m thinking of a new jersey pj pattern now. Do you stock the Style Arc pj set multi size and do you rate it? As a native of the NE (Darlington) I do like to support my fellow northern sisters!! Xxx 😘
Ahh we don't stock Style Arc patterns in the shop I'm afraid and that one isn't one I've tried myself. For jersey PJs (for myself) I've used the True Bias Hudson pants in the past, just with any top or jumper pattern (like the Grainline Studio Linden for example). I know a lot of people rate the Juno PJs by Tilly and the Buttons. For Taylor, I either make the Mini Juno PJs from the Tilly & the Buttons Mini Makes book, or I use the Waves & Wild Harem pants with the Brindlle & Twig Ringer Tee. Ahh lovely to hear you're originally from the NE! xx
I finally caved. I did have to pay£49 postage to Switzerland, but I still got£100 off a Serious Reader light. I was tempted to buy the Gemini but In the end I went with a single HD light. I have an amazing light on my sewing room but it is clamped to the table. I often sew at my dining room table, so this light will be used there . I have glaucoma so I always appreciate fabulous lighting
Fabulous makes, Tamlyn. I love the fabric in the sweatshirt you are wearing. I would have bought some but unfortunately First for Fabrics don't ship outside of the UK 😥 I also love the Hope dress. I have made it once using the button front from the extension pack. You've inspired me to try one of the others, and of course another Donny. Where do I find the time? 😍
Gütterman make basting thread in three pastel colours. Better than using sewing thread. It is grippy, so it doesn't come out easily, and it breaks without a huge amount of force so it is easy to use
I would love to make the sweatshirt you have on I’m old school and I haven’t ordered any patterns. I’m from back in the day when you go to Joannes and buy McCall’s butter Rick simplicity patterns so I’m not sure how to do this ordering. Do I just order online to get that sweatshirt? I would love to have it in print
I like the boxy fit on you. It looks just right on your slim figure. Just For my figure, not slim like you, it might look better to take a bit off the sides.
You’ve accomplished so much in recent weeks. Well done Tamlyn. The Dovestone dress is sensational. Brilliant job! 💕😂
Everything is absolutely stunning, I NEED that alpine fleece you’re wearing and the unintentional effect on your dovestone is just beautiful
Thanks sweetheart xx
Beautiful makes!!! 💗💗💗
What a busy little sewing bee you have been. 🐝🐝🐝 🧵🧵🧵
Yeah I've managed to sew quite a bit recently! Thank you x
Beautiful makes x
Thank you! x
Love how the pattern of the curve design goes from top to bottom. Great pattern placement on the dress. Did not realize it was a circle!
Thanks so much x
That dovestone looks amazing on you! The accidental pattern placement looks brilliant. 🤩 Awww look at him in his read sweatshirt. He is growing up too fast Tamlyn 😍
Thanks lovely! Oh I know, he's a proper big boy now x
I also just bought the Xoe pattern. I have some Guthrie and Dhabi Chicacheetah fabric in the pink colourway and possibly also in the blue. That plus some meet milk black French Terry and voila!
Ooh yes, perfect! x
Thank you love your dress and all your makes.
Love all of your makes. Couldn’t pick a favourite! Can’t believe that you didn’t plan the pattern placement on the Dovestone…what an amazing outcome 🙌
I know! Result! Thanks lovely xx
Lovely makes Tamlyn 😍

Ahh you're welcome lovely - only the truth x
Such lovely makes! I’m seriously tempted by the Xoe!! Xx
I've never made a style arc dress, but the hope dress looks like a perfect starting place. Your frocktails dress is beautiful. 🤩
Yes it definitely would be a good one for your first go at Style Arc!

Yes I was actually thinking of sizing down to an 8 for my next one. I definitely want to make another soon. So glad you gave it a go x

What company sells this fabric please it sounds beautiful. So exciting for you to welcome your first granddaughter soon 🥰
Love the leopard top. It’s inspired me for what to do with the same fabric I bought from first for fabrics. It looks fabulous 🎉❤
So glad I could inspire you. Happy sewing x

The colour blocked sweatshirt reminds me so much of one I had in the 90’s as a teenager 😊
Yes, it definitely has a bit of a retro vibe (I can't believe I'm saying 90s is retro. haha)
Loving your sweatshirts. That alpine fleece looks so soft and warm. I am hoping for vouchers for my birthday. So I get some alpine fleece and matching ribbing. 🤩
Yes, alpine fleece is my new favourite thing! x

I posted your order out today - I hope you love receiving your parcel. Thank you for ordering xx

Isn't he just? Thank you x
Absolutely beautiful makes 💜
Thanks so much lovely x
When I make my jarrah I usually make the ribbing a bit shorter to take it in a bit without losing the full loose feel x
Ahh that's a great tip, thank you x
Gorgeous Hope dresses!!!❤❤❤
Thank you xx
