Really enjoyed this video but there should be a law against destroying such historic beauty and for what? More strip malls that will be empty in ten years while this stunning house has withstood the test of time. I liked everything about this house. Thank you for documenting it.

Unfortunately, the powers that be make money off of condos, strip malls, etc. than old, abandoned houses. It is sad to see, but that is how it is now. Greed.

Nice house. It’s crazy that someone is going to tear it down. If they keep demolishing these older homes, there won’t be any historic homes left in that area. What a shame. That house is in great condition too.

A criminal shame this house was demolished. Does everything have to have a price on it? The people who bought this to build a development have no respect for their past. Major shame. Those fixtures and that industrial ceiling fan are vintage relics that should have been pulled out as well. Thanks for having such a thoughtful heart in your explores. You finally got a follow from me today. Been binging your videos all day. Happy new year!

That pot-bellied stove wood stove is worth a few pennies, it's sad that it has to be demolished the home, it would be awesome if they would leave things alone, instead of a strip mall let the former of the past have a history to tell, love the video, thank you for sharing, God bless you.

What a gorgeous house I can't believe that they want to demolish it for a stupid strip mall as this home is historic and still in a decent condition it would make a great place to raise a family ,,you could take an area for a nice vegetable garden and put a swing set in the yard for the kids you could really use your imagination here and the beautiful flooring is knotty pine wood ,,,oh I just feel in love with this one yeah and old style wood stove and a wood table with wood benches and country style curtains ,akes me sick to think of them wanting to tear down this charming old house,,heck with the mall it can be built some where else ,, your making me cry😢 don't tear it down it has so much potential

I kept hoping you would close that open window in the bookshelf room.. I know you have policies about leaving things as you found them, but the thought of rain blowing in there makes me sad. It's stomach turning to know it's due to be demolished. Such a crying shame😢

They should move the whole house to another location. But it would cost much more than demolishing. In the past two years I've watched 2 historic house moves. The recent one went right through my home town. Quite a few rich people in my town.

The state is building a HUGE bypass through my town. It is so sad to see all that beautiful land, the trees and little animal's homes being ripped up and destroyed. I have lived here my whole life and have always been proud that our town hadn't become one of "those" other towns or cities. We still had so much natural beauty and much forests. Now, we have a casino, I can't even count the sprawling housing divisions (and still putting them up like every day), an energy plant, and now this damn bypass. Truly makes me sad. History is being erased.
    Just subbed. 👍

If I about the tiny lightbulb but in our house when we get up to early and turn on bright light it interferes with going back to sleep. So when I let the dogs out now I just use a small flashlight so I don't crash into stuff lol. Then if I have time I can go back to bed.

Enjoyed the video. I think it is sinful that they are tearing down such a beautiful home, not a thing wrong with it, there is a shortage of home world wide. Apparently these people have more money than they know what to do with it, that home is in excellent shape, many people would love to have it, lovely trees, large yard, so sad they are tearing it down.
