Finally! A decent review on these earbuds!! Personally for me I got small ear canals so earphones with rubber tips is really just me constantly pushing them back in which is mad annoying that's why these design works better for me. Really good review! ✨
Very relatable, I’m so tired of constantly trying to push them in, they’re so uncomfortable and never stay in the ears :( the AirPods/EarPods are the perfect size and shape for me
same here. I have small ears and very small ear canals. Even airpods 1:1 fakes were uncomfortable at first, but my ears have stretched and adjusted and i can even do workouts with them.
Sadly people like me with small ear canals can't comfortably enjoy in-ear buds with the silicone tips. So we gotta settle for these, or just grab some over ear headphones.
I recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods to use with my Android phone. The only reason I bought them was because I actually prefer the semi in ear design. I have very small ear canals, and I can't stand anything that feels like ear plugs. Had this review been posted before I bought the Airpods I'd have gone with these TaoTronics instead. The fact that you say they sound better, and are $40 is a no-brainer. Maybe I should sell the Airpods, and get these anyway. How is Android support. Do they have an Android app?
No Android app as far as I know, but they work perfectly fine on my Android devices. Thanks for sharing also - I honestly didn't know that there were so many people out there who preferred semi in ears over in ears (I used to be one of those people many years ago so I definitely get the appeal). I'll bear that perspective in mind more in future videos. If you can get a decent price for your AirPods, it might be a great idea, but I'd recommend buying these and testing them before selling your AirPods or returning the TT92s just to make sure you're definitely happy with the swap. Thanks for watching!
@@mrkwd thanks for the reply. I do appreciate the info. I suppose without app support the only thing I'd be missing out on is battery level notification. I use an app called AirBattery for that for the AirPods. I'll probably just stick with the Airpods, but if TaoTronics comes out with app support that may persuade me to give them a try.
I can't wear the silicones earbuds as they never stop in my ear I'm so glad there are some good, cheap, semi-in ear buds and waterproof what else can I ask for?
I HATE headphones with the silicone tips, my ears always feel super gross after I wear them and they just never fit right. So for me, any headphones with that design are a 0/10. So these ones are the ones for me :D
I DONT GET IT... at one point, you say that comparing these with in-ear earphones would be "unfair and like apples and oranges", but then you rated the sound at FIVE, because you COMPARED them to in-ear earphones.... THAT was the real unfair part.... and I wonder how you rated the sound of apple airpods in the past, because you said these sounded a lot better, so what are airpods? 3/10?
When I used to have normal wireless full in-ears with silicone tips(Before I somehow lost them), I found it uncomfortable after a few minutes and didn't fit in well with my ear. Currently using apple's dirty buds which are semi in-ears, thinking of buying these as wireless, semi in air design and sound.

thanks for the review! love the way you give score to all important factor. why don't you review Honor Choice X1 in comparison with soundliberty 92, as airpod clone producs
Bought a pair of these as part of an offer with TaoTronics headphones. Really pleased with the comfort and sound quality seems ok, seems better than my Jaybird X3 which are in buds?
I see on Amazon that the new Taotronics SoundLiberty 95 came out. I'm surprised I don't see any reviews on RUclips or anywhere else. Perhaps you can try to get a hold of these and do a review for us?
did you use the little rubber covers on them? I find they made the pods stick in my ear better. Just as is, they do hang on the outer side of my ear. The Sound quality was the reason why I got these - I bought my daughter a pair for Christmas 2021, and thought they are amazing.
I'm watching this video at 4 in the morning all sleepy and drowsy but I couldn't believe myself when at 0:24 you showed the price for the apple airpods... Now in what world or country do you live in where apple airpods cost $199? I believe their base everyday normal price is $129.99 usd .. Anyone else agree with me?
They are these from amazon OneCut 5 Pairs Silicone Ear tips for Pods 1&2/EarPods, Silicone Soft Covers Anti-Slip Sport Earbud Tips, Anti-Drop Ear Hook Gel Headphones Earphones Protective Accessories Tips (Black)
I bought these largely because of your review and I have to disagree on the sound quality. I compared them with thr AirPods (Gen 2) and I think the 92s sound much worse. The 92s have a constant static hiss, worse with low audio but still there when nothing is playing at all. That said, I got them for about $30 USD, and they're a pretty good value. I don't think I can escape the static at this price point, so I'll probably have to return these and step up to something higher end.
Hey Steven, thanks for sharing your experience - I'm sure anyone considering buying these will find it really helpful. I can actually hear some static as you mentioned, but it seemed to disappear as soon as playback started with mine, so I didn't think it was worth mentioning. Either way, thanks for bringing it up as others can bear that in mind when they receive their unit. Cheers!
Bought them yesterday as a replacement for my Maginon Bik 3 from Aldi, which dont have a usable mic. I like the SL92, but the case actually feels very cheap, the Bik3 have almost the same case as the AirPods with a smooth surface, while the SL92' Case feels like cheap plastic. Also the lid moves a bit when closed and I dont like that you can still hear the SL92' confirmation of connecting/disconneting even when the case is closed.
My original AirPods have as good as died now. These seem like a logical cheaper replacement that sounds better. I have tried in ear multiple times but I get a headache after 5 minutes. I get sweaty instantly if I walk with these in. And they are impossible to workout in. So whilst you keep beating down the design... I love it
Fanatstic detailed review covering all facets and best of all, a brief comparison against the apple air pods which is what we all want to know. Amazingly mrkwd rates the SoundLiberty 92 better than Apple Airpods on several important metrics
These are actually quite good. Surprisingly good microphone even if you don't take into account its IPX8 rating. Much better than the 79s. Of all the true wireless earbuds I've tried, these ones and the soundpeats true capsules have the best mic.
I think these are the same buds as the Vipex earbuds. They look exactly the same except for the case. I'd be curious for a head to head. Vipex seems to be constantly on sale, so even a better deal than the TT version.
do these having any annoying voice that says connected etc or makes lots of noise with pairing, I have had 3 cheap AirPod alternative and they all seem to have that and it makes me just want to shell out the money for airpods..that and nothing but pairing issues and accidentally pressing the functions on the cheap knockoffs which turn them off, turn on Siri, go to the next song ): if these didn’t do those annoying things I may give one more chance to AirPod alternatives !!
I noticed after a using them for a week on the ipad/iphone that when using them on the pc the mic is horrible. Everyone says the mic volume is way too low and that I am barely hearable.
