  • Here is a great clip from the Hollywood Palace. Betty does a great version of Arthur Murray - the backup dancing is very fun and very much of the time period. This is one of my favorite songs...I wish she would have recorded it with Capital! Dale Robertson is the host. Enjoy!

She was the only performer who could shout a song and make me love it!

WOW!!! She is fantastic! A knock-out in looks and performance! This was from her supposed "difficult" period when she was supposed to be on a downward spiral. No evidence of it here. You go, Betty!

Betty did this number in the 1942movie "The Fleet's In". She still had so much energy even in 1964!!

Miss Betty did this number in the 1942 movie "The Fleet's In". She def. still had alot of energy still in 1964.

As you can see, she kept her figure, kept her voice and her talent never diminished. She was a very smart person but little of that came through in her public image.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the movie is "The Fleet's In" 1942 that she does this number.

Her careeer ended far too soon and this proves it!
Someone should have put her in a splashy broadway show and started another phase in her life as a performer!
