Here's a link to my St Fagans playlist where you can find some of my other St Fagans vlogs! ruclips.net/p/PLALLNg0RJa5zguH8V3ajffFSfZKqUvk8f Thanks so much for watching this one! There will be a part 2 and possibly three...
Oh Immo! Not facing the traffic while you walk? You Rebel, You! When ever you climbed that tree, you are not that old. I was 17 in 1975, now THAT''S old LOL. Lovely day!
I walked back too! I was gonna get the bus but I still had some energy left after a cozy sit down in the cafe. I haven't edited that part yet. I ended up with an hour and ten minues of footage. Oops.
Very nice vlog today. I did some googling of St Fagan's and learned much. I have signed up for a zoom presentation about Christmas traditions in Wales via their website. Apparently, they accept Americans, as long as buy the ticket in British Pounds. Looks like an interesting place with lots of buildings to explore.
Oh wonderful! Yes, I'm sure you'd find it fascinating. I reckon I've got three vlog's worth of footage from this one trip and I only visited a fraction of the buildings so I'll be delighted to go back and visit again. Thanks, David!
I visited St Fagan about 30 years ago. I loved the old farmhouses. I was thinking, how lucky we are to live in the present. Life must have been so uncomfortable up to 50 years ago. Cold draughty houses, rich or poor, we all suffered.
Yesss! I also remember it from 30 years ago. I was wishing people made vlogs then so we could go back in time and see it as it was. I went a lot in the 80s and 90s and as you say, it makes you really value the modern comforts and I think that visiting St Fagans a lot as a child has made me into an adult that really apreciates modern living and with a big respect for the ancesters. Thanks so much for watching, Yellowlabrador.
your my favourite youtuber because you are real with everything and dont tell lies like other people on this app who only do this for money! i also love your videos because you do a lot of Cardiff adventure videos and i live there and i think its just nice to see someone else seeing cardiff from their point of view :)
One of my favourite places 🥰 and yes you are totally right about the bodies being kept away from the rats! I always remember learning that on a school trip and every visit since I always get nervous glancing up 🤭
Oooh! So I was right about the bodies! Thanks so much for letting me know. Sometimes I come out with things on the vlog and then question where I learned it from and have no clue! 😂 It's also one of my favourite places. Thanks so much for watching and for the chapel info! x
Thanks for sharing a great day out , shame about the rain ☔️ wow 2 miles to walk both ways from the station 🚉 quite the workout. Lunch looked great we love Egg Salad sandwiches 🥪 and Twix ( Tina likes the little ones 10 in a pack ) we have snow ⛄️ ❄️Today in Canada 🇨🇦 Cheers 🏴 🍷🇨🇦🍺
A very enjoyable vlog Imo...very calming and interesting...I think you should have a series on Ch4 or maybe The History Channel...could call it, 'Let's Go With Imo'... you'd be great!!☺️👍
Yay, the adventure vlogs are my favorite! Your commentary is the best. Before you said it was a house, I thought the castley building at the beginning was your destination. 😂 Like, that was just a house?? 🤯 I had no idea cork was a tree, haha. I guess I thought it was processed wood, made in a factory or something.
Hiya, Jinx! Ah yes - they have loads of cork trees in Portugal - that's something they're famous for. The early life jackets and floatation devices were made from it. I think they have a spooky look to them. I think that's probably what they used on the Titanic?
Videos like this are great for someone like me. I’m a wheelchair user and usually travel alone. I’d struggle to get to this place under my own steam, so thanks for sharing
What a beautiful tranquil place. Especially more so since there really no people around.. I'm a new-ish viewer! Or fan? I've started watching your vids every single day..almost.. You're bubbly kind personality and and genuine joy shines through a lot and I think that's why I'm so happy to be a part of your daily life vlog world. I have no idea how I even stumbled upon your videos..I was probably watching Wales travel vlogs? Anyway I very rarely leave comments on peoples stuff...I just thought I'd reach out in some way and let you know you deffo bring the sunshine!
Aw thank you so much! I have stumbled across lots of channel through searching for videos on a particular area too and sometimes stuck around for their other vids, so that's nice to hear. Thanks so much for watching. :¬)
What a fabulous place to visit, I've seen it on tv before, pity the weather wsnt better for you. We went to went to Ironbridge a few years ago wih Canbridge Morris Menwho were dancing there, it is similar to St Fagans and very interesting. Such a good vlog looking forwarrd to the next part.x
Aw thanks! Yeah it was a few hours of editing but I find the pseudo-experience type vlogs the most rewarding to make and they are my favourites on my channel. It was originally what I set out to do on the channel but it's been a lot more difficult to get out and about during Covid. I was making the most of this opportunity and loved every minute of the trip! Thanks so much, Cat-Anne! x
We visited St fagans during the summer holiday and we all really enjoyed it, so much to look at. We also visited the royal mint museum the day after which is also a really interesting place to go
@@PlanetImo It’s really worth a visit you have a guided tour for about 45 minutes this includes going into the factory to see the coins being made, then you have a section that you walk through by yourself, my girls even got to print their own 50 pence.
Me too! Oh... I've got to edit it. Ha ha! I filmed an hour and ten mins worth. Got a bit carried away but I was really enjoying it so I just went with the flow. I think there may be a part 3 even... we'll see.
I do enjoy your adventuresome days! Glad the rain let up so you could get your steps in more comfortably. The museum was interesting. Materials have changed but some boat designs are similar to today. It shows that our ancestors were pretty smart folks.

What a interesting place Imo,it's brilliant to see these buildings how it used to be.shame about the weather but the history was good to see.
Aw thank you so much, Steven.

Two miles! That's quite a walk to the musem! And another two miles to get back to the station!

See what you think of the cottages in the 2nd part? Not sure if it still exists, nice pub called the Plymouth Arms in the village!
I'm editing the terrace now! (Well, taking a quick break for comments, but you know what I mean) LOVED the terrace. :¬) Thanks, Dean.
What a cool place. Was that one of the places we were going to visit but it was shut?
Yes! I was thinking of you as I walked round. This was just a fraction of it. I think you’d love it.

Ironbridge sounds great! I'll have to add that to my places to visit wish-list. Thanks, Barbara. x
That was a nice field trip! :) It was a lot of effort to make this video I'm sure. Thank you!

I guess rats are a problem since the beginning of time. Interesting location for the dead waiting to be buried. Love these ancient places.
Me too! I'm looking forward to my next visit already. Thanks so much for watching, Karen! x
That one part, with all the obstacle course stuff looks really fun!
And scary! Ha ha ha!
I love what you do.
Good video. Continue on your road on getting the silver play button
Thanks!
Hibimmo great adventure I love going to places on my own you can take your time.
It's true - you can go at your own pace and i do enjoy that as I always worry about holding people up. Thanks, Julie. x
That high wire obstacle course looks like fun! Strap your gopro to a head mount of chest mount and go for it! :)
Now that's a thought. Even better idea - strap it to an Izzy!! 🤣
@@PlanetImo There you go! :)

Thanks! I'm good thanks. I must admit, I LOVE going to Portugal on holiday. What about you?
What an amazing place imo thanks for taking me along all the best donny x
Thanks, Donny! Thanks for watching. x
Very pretty gardens, I would totally live in that house hehe xx
Oh yes! Plenty of room for you and your sister in there! :¬)
What a great museum to walk around in! Is there usually not much people like this?
It's usually busy. It's popular with families and school outings. It's a great place to visit with loads of photo opportunities 🙂
I went at a really off peak time and in dodgy weather. In normal, good weather, non-school and non-Covid times it's a lot busier.
We visited St fagans during the summer holiday and we all really enjoyed it, so much to look at. We also visited the royal mint museum the day after which is also a really interesting place to go
The royal mint! Now that's somewhere I;ve never been to, but really want to visit! :¬) Thanks, Susan. x

It really is! Thanks, Dave. x
i love your cow hat where did you get it from
Oooh a folk festival from a stall years ago. I don't know where you can buy them. I love my cow hat, even if it does look rather silly!
Good evening Imo
Good evening, Ms Pippa! x

I daresay there will be a few. :¬)
Two miles wow in the cold as well wow wow.
I walked back too, hee hee! My legs were rather achey by the time I got back. Ouch! That'll teach me! 🤣Thanks, Nikki.
I do enjoy your adventuresome days! Glad the rain let up so you could get your steps in more comfortably. The museum was interesting. Materials have changed but some boat designs are similar to today. It shows that our ancestors were pretty smart folks.
They were indeed smart, and what tough things they were up against. Respect to them! Thanks so much, Gayle. x
have you been to new quay befor
I've been to the one in Wales. I THINK I went to one in Cornwall when I was little?
Interesting place! Love the grounds & love your little lunch spot!
Thanks guys. I think you'd really enjoy it there - I covered a fraction of it in this vlog... x
@@PlanetImo It is the kind of place that we enjoy exploring!
I think so too!! x
I can imagine you both having a go on that high wire, too! I think I'll pass though! 🤣
