I immediately wrote it down, put it in a letter (I love mailing my friends silly stuff) and sent it off to my best friend. Literally two days after before she got that card, our close friend unexpectedly passed away. The pain she and I went through must have made me block a large chunk of that time out of my memory, because this clip just reminded me of that. The thing is, the next day, my friend got that card. She was still a sobbing mess, yet she got that dumb Drawfee quote and she laughed her head off at it. It was the first thing that she laughed at after our friend died, and it was very precious to me to see her laugh so fully at something. I just wanted to say, thanks for all the crazy laughs. You guys are so silly and make us smile. You make me smile, and that day in our darkest hours this year, you made my favourite person smile. Now that I remember this silly quote, I'm going to make sure I don't forget it this time. As dumb as it is, I just can't get over how silly yet important it became to me. Thanks Drawfee.

Also I feel like we concentrate a lot on the goofs, but I wanted to say how much I appreciate all of your art! Even when it's very silly or you might not think it's your personal best, I for one LOVE seeing what you create. I love each of your different art styles, and I'm so glad the concept of Drawfee leads you to create these strange masterpieces that otherwise would probably never exist. It also made me happy to see you shift the schedule to something a bit more humane, and have time to branch out and experiment with different styles and so on, as well as working on personal projects. I usually don’t make comments like this but drawfee really is my comfort content. I get easily anxious. Basically this year has stressed me out here and there but drawfee has always been there to distract me and make me feel happy with a laugh. I love this channel! You guys are amazing
I skimmed over this and accidentally read "Sorry to hear that you're still making videos," but I was convinced you must have said it as a bit of some kind. On rereading, "super happy that you're still making videos" makes more sense, and I agree. Every year we get more Drawfee videos is a year the world has more good, much-needed art and jokes.
I suspect the New Avatar's video gets so many views because it is the closest thing to feeling like the start of a "new season" of drawfee. So it feels like a fresh point to try picking up the show again when it crosses someone's algorithm and they're reminded that they liked you guys. I know for example, that I've never finished a campaign of critical role, but whenever they start up a new campaign I find myself curious to check out the first episode or two to see how the crew is doing.
Actual last episode of the year that I may request this: Drawing suggestion: draw each other into an isekai. Example- Nathan is king of dinosaurs in a prehistoric world; Karina uses a Digimon deck in a YuGiOh-esque dimension; Julia is a Drawtective in an isekai full of vampires; and Jacob is the leader of a bunch of little guys rebelling against hot villains.
Yeahhh, I suspect the subtitles are done by one person without much input from the crew or others. I do genuinely appreciate the effort to put subtitles, but it's pretty inacessible to watch with no audio without the current way of subtitles just cutting a significant amount of context with the names often not tagged onto words.
At 3:03 when he said "and you hear a pounding at your door", I heard the knock in the video and legitimately thought it was a knock at my front door because it played in the right side of my headphones which is the direction my front door was in and it sounded just far enough away that it was at my literal front door. I closed my laptop, got up and looked outside and then realized what just happened. I also listened back to the video like three more times to make sure I wasn't crazy. That was hilarious

Its kinda silly, but a lot of the captions are assigned to the wrong people, for example, anytime Karina is speaking the captions say its Julia, as well as when there's guests, its always attributed to either Karina or Jacob.
