KUNLEY( Ward 21), very in depth and detailed interview. I felt like was there with them from there first growing season. It must be the creativity because I really could listen and watch this interview but picture everything that took place as he explained. I love the fact that he has a childhood friend in which he enjoyed working and experimenting with in dancehall music and they both believed in each other. Most of all, they enjoyed what they do to contribute to the music and they loved it. Teach this is by far one the best interviews. Blessed love ❤
Ward 21 definitely part of my childhood. One thing I realize reggae, dancehall....the inspiration for the lyrics of many of the songs is unique. When u hear the background or inspiration of the songs and how the lyrics of the song came to be u realize there r not many genre's of music that can claim dis type of phenomenon. Outside of soul and rhythm and blue and hip hop not many genre's can claim dis type of phenomenon. Also rock and roll. Cyan believe ppl wan compare afro beats and calypso to dat genre of dancehall and reggae! Music wid nothing but repetitive lyrics to 90s and 2000 danceall! No comparison I'm baffled how some of these songs come to life. No typical woman and man relationship need to drop out in order to build lyrics. Ty teach dem. Another gem as always. Pls hunt dung some of the Rebel salute artist dat r up in age before dem drop out. 🙏
Great interview. The Junior Demus tune he talks about called Ting, wasn't actually junior demus. I'm sure Kiprich mentioned in his teach dem interview that he recorded it as a joke!
Here watching...I heard Kunley sehh him pick up Basketball after his first love Football, it look like a him inspire him likkle bredda Khali .... bwoy dat yute used to be a Terror back when me use to play League ...as yu quint him dunk pon somebody ( not me though ..lolol)
Capleton slew dem is a diss song towards beenie man after he heard "Fire Burn" from beenie man. Pure sodom from Capleton is pretty much the slew dem part 1 because he mentions beenie man's name " Moses" with saying dead man dem in the chorus. He also repeats the dead man dem duppy man dem on slew dem. Definitely a diss song. Capleton and Beenie Man argued about it on the phone with Barry G or was it Muta
RHyme have a new rhyme and it rule every...time... Sir TeachDem yu know seh Winford and Anthony soon wont be the go to Interviewer again ...right dem a move like a tabloid like The Star pure sensationalism and gimmickery...People a guh come to you for the authentic, credible Music interviews more like The Gleaner - for news.
Great interview. Been waiting for this since you interviewed Suku. Lyrically Kunley could run rings round any DJ out there. Just imagine if this guy did clash... jeez. I'd just love to see Ward 21 tour again. One more thing, I'm not sure if it's possible but could you try link Derrick Barnet ex Sagitaurus?

I would love to find out from the artist in this interview you say you do not remember a lot of things do you have a brain memory problem and this is no disrespect is it a shade because I realize when artists don't want to highlight certain things they say they don't remember is that what this is
