They were that duo who are both so reserved, introverted people. Notice on most of their matches they don't usually talk and interact when they win or lose a point. You could say those two were the best looking male and female players of all time and not get a whole lot of arguments from people. More importantly, they were total class acts on the court. You never saw any non-sense from Gaby at all. Patrick was the kind of guy you would love to have a beer with.
@Max E I think Patrick and Gaby win in the looks department, they look like movie stars. ☺️ But Graf and Edberg obviously great, great champions and good looking, too. All four, class acts, that’s for sure. 👏👏👏👏
Gaby is super nervous !!! She said in an interview that she lost many semifinals on purpose coz she didn’t wanna have to give a speech in the finals....
She cleared that up not long ago. No she NEVER lost any semifinal on purpose. But she said that she thinks she lost some because she wasn't eager enough to get to the finals. Point is that she lost 15 of 18 slam semis! 6 against Steffi. 3 against Seles. 2 against Navratilova. 1 against Evert. 12 slam semi losses against some of the top 10 greatest players of all time!!! She played in the wrong era....
She always looks messy. I'm surprised she hasn't been spoken to by ESPN or other broadcasting companies to fix that. There is no excuse to look unprofessional.
