Algeria is the perfect destination for those who want an authentic travel experience, no tourist traps and things like that, you get to live with the people, and there's so much history too, here are some cool places to see "Bejaïa, Constantine (originally named cirta) "the hanging city" Tlemcen, Oran. Annaba, Sétif, jijel, Tizi ouezou and if you want to go to Mars just go to tamanrasset it's literally like planet Mars, there's a city there with alien and demon looking drawings that date back 40.000 years ago😅 it's called sefar.....3 days by cammel to get to it .Anyway you're welcome here anytime guys❤️🇩🇿
That's what makes Algeria so unique compared to Tunisia or Morroco, there are basically no tourists since the visa is really complicated but on the other hand you get all what you just mentionned and the people will be so welcoming and happy to see you :)
I have visited almost the whole world and I say, but Algeria is the only country in the world where all types of climate, geography and history come together in one country.
The best thing about Algeria is how they treat tourists as dear guests instead of seeing them as walking money, No scams. Also it shows the real authentic culture of its people since the government don't care for tourism so every beauty you see is real, nothing fake to bring tourists. Allah Yebarek ❤
Thank you for sharing your life with us. I traveled in Africa back in 1970's with a back pack and open mind, it was amazing, The people were wonderful, I hitch hiked, took busses and walked. I was taken home by many Algerian families we were curious about each other, we shared. It is wonderful to see they are still the same. I left southern Algeria and crossed the Sahara desert and met many more wonderful trusting people. Keep doing what you are doing with your channel, you will help change the world to a better less consumer oriented place. Thank you.
can we just appreciate how lovely and sweet this couple are , they got me teared up taking care of the little kitty and just the way they are respectful and smiling and interested in the culture , this type of tourism we love in here , i hope you enjoyed every minute in my country , you guys are amazing 😇♥ please come back another time there is alot more to see

Thank you so much for not giving up on that cat. And being vegetarian/vegan in algeria could be hard, but once you get pass the general idea of a balanced diet (which in Algeria means including meat in most dishes) you'll be surprised to find out lots of local dishes and tadjines just taste as good when yoy prepare them without any animal product. I've been vegan than vegetarian for the last 5 years here in Constantine, very few people get the concept but you manage to make it through with home made meals and it could be super cheap too. Again glad you took care of that kitty, very heart warming.
So happy to hear you have a plant-based diet in Algeria. We did manage to get some meals made vegan for us and it was truly delicious food, so we're going to learn to make some of the dishes ourselves too. If you have any specific recipe recommendations we should try let us know. Thank you!
Very few people around the word understand the concept because we humans should eat fruits, veggies,.meat and fish. Thats what we are made for. Thats a fact but if people want to eat plantbased thats fine with me..its not mh problem and there should restaurants for vegans or vegetarians aswell
It's not really hard, we have many Algerian Tagines with vegetables, we have Algerian couscous with vegetables and fruits as well ( Masfouf , with beans or pomegranates) she just need to find great Khaima for a better taste. Or ask online in Algerian groups for people to invite them to try Algerian cuisine.
Actually, there are many facebook groups of volunteers that help and rescue stray cats, but all of them are in french or arabic. Anyway huge thanks for saving him.
You should visit Constantine it's a province located at the east of Algeria and it's known for its beautiful nature view bc It's build on a huge Rocky Mountain we also have great and unique traditional food ,culture, music, clothes....

I'm glade your are enjoying the mythical Ghardaia in Algeria 🌼 it's almost your own adventure in old classic movies💚 hope you have beautiful adventure and always welcome to Algeria💚
From what I know these carpets are handmade from scratch. The fabric used in the manufacture of these carpets is made from the wool of the animals of this city. It is woven on manual machines. It takes days and long periods, so its cost is very high. But at the same time it is from good quality because it's made by our mothers with love and care. So I hope you like the ones that you guys bought and welcome to Algeria.
As an algerian myself i haven't visit gardaia yet but i will definitely Do it someday Glad you enjoyed it here despite there's almost no tourism so it can be very challenging for foreign tourists And you literally made my day with your kindness toward that kitten i wish i could have him 🎉❤
Welcome to your country, Algeria. You are our guests. Here, there is no trap or exploitation of the tourist. We do not see the tourist as a dollar. Rather, we respect him as he respects us here. Algeria does not make everything normal, even people treat you normally, without hypocrisy or outbidding.
I hope you guys to visit north of Algeria (the capital city oran city bejaïa city) and the best is constantine city really a magical unique city i highly recommend you to visit it
The beautiful thing that caught my attention and attracted me to you is that you are a wonderful and very simple couple. Greetings to you and welcome. There is a lot to watch.
Don't be surprised, algerians will not look at you as a dollars walking bag, neither a tourist, this concept it's not anchored deep, you're simply welcomed guest and to assist as much possible. This is far more specific kind and different from any other country. Just enjoy ⚘🌾🇩🇿

don't underestimate our algerian cats, they do fine in the streets, and most of them find a home eventually since most people don't mind random cats going in and out of the house, there are a couple around me that visit often and i feed them when i see them.
First of all i have to salute you for your courage to travel without agency or a car because it's so hard complacated and tiring. Second ,you don't need to cover your head it's true the people in Guardia are conservative but they just don't like short clothes for both men and women and if you go with a guide you'll be welcome and no one will notice you and they will treat you as special guest because they are really generous, and it's very nice of you to rescue the cat and to respect the city's codes .. hope you enjoyed it.
