    I always love your slab building and hand building videos. They’ve definitely helped me create a lot of my own pieces. I would love to see a video of a couple different ways to hand build dining bowls

    As always, another excellent and useful video! Thank you for the tips you add throughout, like drying upside down, and under a thin cloth! I love hand building pottery and your tips just add to that feeling of satisfaction (because the pieces will turn out better!). 😊

    Hi, I'm wondering, if I can make the walls even thinner than 5mm or is it the minimum in order to keep the piece from breaking? Thanks a lot, Joanna

    Love your content. Could you maybe do a video on how to trim the bottom of mugs straight again?
    Sometimes when i wire them off, they are not straight and it's really difficult to get a straight flat non wobbling bottom of a mug again, I hope you understand
    Or is it ok for mugs to have a little wiggle??
    Thanks
    Colin

      Well I would say of course it's ok for them to wiggle a little ;) But keeping the bottoms straight is all about keeping your tool very still. I will add it to the video list!

    What is the name of the glaze you use on the tumblers?👍🏻

    I would be interested to know if your angle cutting tool could be used to get a nice lip on the top of the tumbler. I was drinking from a handmade cup the other day that had the most perfect lip, it felt like I just closed my mouth naturally in line with the angle of the lip.

    Great video! I have a question, do you also smooth the inside ? Or let the joint as is

    • @PotterytothePeople
      @PotterytothePeople  Год назад +1

      This time I just left it because it was pretty clean. Sometimes I'll smooth or even put an extra coil on the inside. If I feel like it :)

    How much weaker would a pot be, if I dont blend the seams to hide the connection line?

    • @PotterytothePeople
      @PotterytothePeople  Год назад +1

      You don't need to blend for a strong seam! As long as the connection is strong.

    • @ArtemensiaK
      @ArtemensiaK Год назад

      @@PotterytothePeople How do I know it is strong? Or in other words: When would you stop? Just before blending? (It is funny to me, to ask, because I am curious, but I pottered last when I was in elementary school and I dont have the means to do it at home. Not because of space, but because I dont want any space dirtier than it already is with two little ones)
