I know the actor portraying him had to leave because of new ventures, but it would have been amazing to see Sweets until the end. He’ll still always be a key part of the show, no matter what.

I love the line where Bones says ‘and I loved him’ when they’re spreading his ashes. That’s a lot for her. She really did love him.
The character of Lance Sweets made the show Bones enjoyable to watch and was well loved by everyone
I watched this series over and over again through the years but Sweets' death always make me feel empty. I wish everyone had a Sweets in their life because He wasn't just a character in a show. He feels so real.💔

This was like an unknown birthday present for me made on my birthday because I love Lance Sweets so much he was my favorite in the show and forever will be just I wished he stayed til the end.. Not till season 10... (btw my birthday was june 4th)

I only just started watching bones and I formed an attachment with sweets, he was my comfort character and when I saw his death... it broke me. I can’t even think of his name without crying let alone watch things like this but this video really captures sweets essence, thank you x
Same here. Started it around the same time you did and found he also became my comfort character. His death is still so hard to watch. He is one of my favourite tv characters ever.

Apparently John was only leaving for the first half of season ten for the show he was going to shoot on and he wanted to come back for the second half of season 10. I hate that they decided to kill him instead temporarily have him leave.

Of all the fictional characters, he is by far the one I relate to the most. I miss him very dearly, but this edit helped that a lot. Excellent job :)

The funny thing is that I was convinced Sweets was Gormagon's apprentice in season 3 instead of Zack, even after Zack's confession I was convinced it was a misdirect. Now, after watching the final episode of Bones, I can say that Sweets was my favorite character throughout the show.
I feel for sweets he was handed so many bad cards in life. He made the best of those cards. I know the pain you can see it in his eyes.

I haven't been able to finish his last season, knowing that his character is going to die. I'll just keep rewatching the earlier season again and again, pretending his character is going to keep being just fine.

Isso me quebrou completamente. o Lance Sweets era puro, era doce e o principal ele era alguém que a gente poderia se identificar. A morte dele partiu o meu coração de uma forma que eu nunca pensei antes, eu o amava tanto. Não imaginava e nem estava preparada para perde-lo, eu sei que vai doer por muito tempo ainda. Não sei pra vocês, mas pra mim o Sweets se tornou insuperável. Queria que ele construísse a família que nunca pôde ter, mas que por um tempo teve com Temperance, Christine e Booth. Nunca vou esquecer o Lance, sempre vou ter a certeza de que todo mundo precisa de um sweets.
