He loved Booth so much ( and bones, but Booth more so ), and even when dying, he was trying to make Booth proud of him.
I understand WHY the writers did it, but I still sucks and really hurt. His death is probably the worst in any show I’ve watched, I think because you come to love him like Bones and Booth do.

Aubrey telling Booth ‘you lost your best friend’ and hshdhhd it hurts because no one seems to acknowledge how much Sweets meant to Booth. Sweets was the brother Booth deserved.
