My employers are Orthodox Jews. For the last 12 years, these people have treated me like family. I am now senior management and trusted to care for six businesses, particularly when the holidays make my employers unavailable. That being said, as a woman, there are still boundaries that I have learned not to cross. Your videos have helped educate me and understand the reasons for those boundaries. The deep commitment to tradition, family and God is so beautiful and so inspiring. Thank you for sharing this content. You are building bridges we desperately need.❤

I’m not Jewish but I just love the ceremonial RESPECT AND LOVE of this community. The togetherness of the people who love the religion and how much they LOVE GOD. If only we could all be this loving towards our neighbors and families 😢.
I absolutely LOVE your videos…..please send out more to watch and learn and to be inspired in our own religions! ❤️🌹

I used to live in Williamsburg and have long been fascinated by the Hasidic culture. Regardless of what one thinks or believes, I feel these communities must be protected at all costs. The world is a much richer place for it. ❤

@@FriedaVizelBrooklynthere is a prophecy in the Old Testament (Torah) that says some day the knowledge of God will “cover the earth like the waters cover the seas.” What you filmed is what happens when a whole neighborhood all together worships God in the same way. Imagine what it will be like when everyone worships the Creator together all over this planet.

I don't like to recycle content but I really wanted to meld these videos together into one, because I think there's an effect to seeing it all together.
I'm still working on a segment on the catskills. I had no idea how much winterized life was no happening there until I have recently been researching the area. Apparently my sister is going for part of yomtov and there will be chol hamoed entertainment.

As a former member of a mostly gentile Christian messianic congregation I could relate to most of the symbols and meaning of each holiday. The difference, though, is that we could see the focal point of each to be Yeshua who came in the 1st century AD, was crucified, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven AND will come again to reign the entire world. Isaiah 53 says it all. Amen!

Me, when she’s picking up the exotic fruits: those are dragon fruit, that’s a mangosteen. Choose the mangosteen, they are amazing and look like like cabbage patch fruits or something. I used to live in Vietnam and am very sad I can’t get these fruits all the time now.

Wow! What a vibrant community---and LOTS & LOTS of children!! I would love to just travel to NYC and walk thru Williamsburg or Boro Park, just to see! It would be too confining and limiting for me to actually live in such a community (as a woman particularly), but I would sure as heck like to experience it by walking the streets. I cannot imagine to raise 8 to 10 kids, or more---two was too much for me even, lol!

Great video! The last part - with the Great Rabbi walking from the sukkah to his home - is that more a cultural event or would all Orthodox Jews observe their local Rabbi as well?

I think there are some bigger sects that do it but I'd call it more cultural. Non-Hasidic orthodox jews don't do it I think.

Oh Frieda I wish I could meet you.
I've absolutely totally enjoyed this video in lots of ways. One way Im sure I saw the original High Rabbai video before, which meals I've been with you a year.
You have an amazing special power to educate us non Jews. You have a gentle nature. I find your videos, well your voice calming. I'm going through some health battles just now physical, emotional and mental and you are so much better than medicine.
I don't know if you accept hugs, but I'm female so sure they are OK. Sending you a huge comforting hug that will take away any pain you have. I'm Welsh we call them a cwtch (Goggle it). The tch is a strange combination and sounds a bit odd. But proper "cwtches" are all healing and uplifting. I've really enjoyed and feel blessed by your video. Thank you. 🥂🥂
Sometimes I think you a little naughty (good naughty) as you always tempt me to pack my bags and rush to NY right this moment. And it is 01:21am, five time zones and about an 8-9 hour flight. I best switch off. Sweet dreams.
    Thank you so much.

Love to watch your channel it reflects a peaceful time. Unfortunately times are crazy, talking to people in our Shul more and more Jews are looking for residency somewhere else.
People see the change and the old Jewish "paranoia" kicks in. Often the paranoid survives.

That's interesting (and sad) to hear, and I'd love to find out more about this.

Actually I wanted to suggest a topic for your channel. Will send you my conversations with fellow Jews via email.
