So grateful for my copper colored skin! Its the melanin for me because i can be in the sun all day as long as i stay hydrated! Love the skin your in my beautiful ppl of color
Even darker skinned people need to be careful and use sunscreen. I've known darker skinned people who've gotten skin cancer, and it can be even more dangerous because many doctors aren't as experienced in spotting skin cancer in its early stages on darker skinned people as they are for lighter skinned people. Stay safe out there!
I fell asleep on a tin porch after finishing some housework so strictly on accident. It was for a half hour I woke up in pain and had 2nd & 3rd degree burns to my face mostly. The pharmacist told me to take ibuprofen for the swelling and pain and use aloe vera gel for the burn. My face literally swelled up together into my eyes! I had an allergic reaction due to the severe burns I had. I went to the doctor the doctor told me to get the highest sunscreen SPF could find so I did I literally healed up so fast I have no scarring or anything from the blisters that I had on my face! This is right after I told the doctor isn't it a little late for sunscreen😂
We had a very oale girl in our class and she easoly used to get red or burnt in the sun we kinda made finnof it back then, never realising that its the melalin that saved us.
Why do pale people do this to themselves? I have tan skin and even I wear sunblock. Why would they take this chance? Genetically people without the brown melanin type cannot tan safely. Even those of us with brown skin can't tan safely anymore.
Bruh omg no one wants to get sunburned on purpose. Sometimes it’s not even that hot out or sunny out and I get sunburned. Everyone’s different so instead of just assuming that people WANT to get burned think about how there’s such things as different skin types
I don't think she realized this would happen.. I've never seen a sunburn that bad irl, I also didn't realize you could get this much swelling from it. And skin does sometimes react unexpectedly, it might be more sensitive than usual, you suddently get rashes you never had before, maybe you went out less in spring and now you're more sensitive in summer, different medication can also affect your skin, you've never been skiing before and didn't realize your spf 50 wouldn't be enough protection...etc I also don't think this will happen to her ever again😅😢 and spf is one thing but most people would do better with covering up and wearing a hat when it's really sunny anyway, or going to the shade, not just because of sunburns, also because of heatstrokes.
@@opinionatedazzhole8153How the fuck is that funny? Good for you for sitting in the sun all day and being fine. There are over 100 types of cancer…maybe one of those will kill you while everyone else is hiding from the sun! Funny, right? 😂

Do all sunburns increase the chances of skin cancer or just severe one
Ain’t no sunburns gon give u cancer. Most of it is genetical but it takes like a ton of blistering sunburns to get it don’t u worry
@@w.0707 okay I was worried thanks 😅
one sunburn definitely won’t give you cancer but the more sunburns you get, the higher risk you’ll have for melanoma skin cancer.
