I just got the butterfly thing. He's the butterfly, hence the butterfly tattoo on his neck. He's also beautiful and dazzling like a butterfly and just as temporary as he goes from girl to girl as a butterfly goes from flower to flower. When he draws a butterfly on the wrist of girls he's trying to entrap he gives them the illusion that they've caught the butterfly, like they've caught him. But the butterfly drawing eventually fades away just as they are forced to recognize that they never really had him. This makes the girl from the club who got the drawing made into a tattoo a sad thing cause it shows she tried to hold on to the illusion. I wonder if they will directly address this metaphor since Na Bi's friend referred to him as a flower who opens up to any butterfly that comes it's way.

Let’s be honest, some of us have really been this dumb. She's such a realistic character because even if I don't relate to her, I know several people like her in real life. I wish for a character development to a point where she can value her selfworth.
Jae Eon is also a complex character. He's definitely a bad guy, but I felt like he has reasons. Maybe some things happened in the past? I'm curious.

I know some people hate Nabi not just because she's a martyr when it comes to love but she's like everyone of us. I saw many comments on RUclips calling this drama toxic, which I personally can't agree to. Park Jae Eon was vocal in the beginning itself about his resentment towards commitment. He might have been really hurt from an ugly breakup from the past, the drama doesn't provide actual explanation about it but gives hints only. Maybe if the reason for his fear of attachment was made clear, Jae eon shouldn't have received much hate for being a playboy.
Again, Na Bi clearly knows what she's doing. Even though she tries to resist the temptations, she finally succumbs to her feelings. She wasn't toxic to Do Hyeok as well. She was sure about her friendship with him, neither did she cut him off from her life, nor she gave him false hope. They were friends till the end.
And my guy Do Hyeok is too pure to be toxic- some people says that he tried to impose his feelings over her, but I don't think it was deliberate because he was yet to know about the complex relationship between Jae Eon and Na Bi. All the other couples were in healthy relationships too. Overall, it was not a toxic drama but a well crafted realistic one.
There are a lot many people in this world, nevertheless you can only like the one your heart tells you to. Your heart wants what it wants.

All i could say is Nabi's character is so realistic and so relatable especially for girls like me who's been played by play boys. If you really haven't experienced the confusion between choosing to let go and choosing to risk then u don't have the right to nag abt the character's personality. For me this k-drama is not just a fiction, this could literally be someone's story because some of the scenes actually happened to me in real life so i find it so realistic.

First time I have seen this much fire in a drama. Even though she knows he is probably going after every girl he sees until he gets what he wants...she still wants him. Interesting we have all seen it or experienced it.
As a girl who got played by way too many playboys i could say that Song Kang's character here in the k-drama is so realistic, when i watched this i kinda saw my past self with Na-bi who was naive and driven by attraction alone. It kinda made me realize that i was stupid lol but i learned my lesson tbh. The playboy act is so realistic that i imagined my past in this k-drama those boys who played with me we're always clingy and is nice, they always take my side whenever i'm in an argument, they would always wait for me to go home so they could take me home safely, they would always get my umbrella and share it with me, they mostly did things that only couples would do with me. And tbh it was fun, not until you start falling for them and then when i was ready to say yes they quickly found another girl , they ignored me like i was just a stranger again. It sucks cuz you're know left madly inlove with them but their now interested with an another girl.
Not y'all victim blaming Na-bi, a lot of people including myself who have been in Na-bi's situation related to her a lot as a character. I think the moment she said that she decides to be a “fun girl” while they were drinking was already a hint that she’s gonna go all in. This story is realistic tho. Although we all had hoped she wouldn’t give in, seeing how she went with it all knowing she cant have anything serious from him makes me want to see their character development. Nabi ends up learning from falling for such guy and Jae-on ends up seriously falling for her until another guy likes Nabi and takes her seriously and he decides to treat her right.

To what extent do people just ignore those flags? I’ve never felt so strong romantically about someone, and based on my own personal experiences, those red flags are easy turn offs. So what does life being short have to do with ignoring them, and also how do emotions (lust, love, attraction, whatever) cause you to look over such major flags? These are genuine questions. It’s hard to express tone through comments.

Yeah I get you would be turned off by what he is because he's flirty and does not believe in commitment but other people are also attracted by this. It's the rush and thrill and the thinking that being with him is not so bad and is worth the pain in the end. You might disagree but personally I've been in a similar situation and although I chose to stay away I was really tempted to just go for it and fck the consequences. I watched this on Netflix, and it's just the BEST K-Drama I've watched, and I've watched a lot... The actual feeling behind the closeness of both Leads is phenomenal... It actually made me feel something, the realness of it... The only downfall of watching it on Netflix is the voice overs, hated the voice overs so badly... When it's in Korean, it seems to touch you more, the feelings in the original language is spine tingling... 🥰🥰 I will recommend this to absolutely everyone I know that watches Asian Dramas... Amazing Director's and Producer's, Love the Cast members so much... Thank you for a very real, full of feeling Drama... 💯💯🥰🥰
