Great Video!! I have a few questions though. How do you sink up the RGB lighting across all the parts? What RGB settings are you using? Finally do the fans come with a fan hub that controls the LED?
I have upHere 120mm fans, in this case, which are budget fans, but they come with a hub, and a controller, that can turn them on & off, and change their colors.
Gorgeous build! I'm curious how your thermals are? I'm thinking of doing a similar build, but most people seem to recommend bottom + side intake and top radiator exhaust for the O11 Dynamic. I'd really love to have side exhaust for LL120's, but I'm worried whether the GPU might run a bit hot with top radiator intake.
+1 on this. I am also about to start my own build in this case. That bottom acrylic/light piece looks amazing, but I want to know if GPU temps suffer before pursuing something similar...
Just finished my build I'm this case yesterday...the problem with all rgb fan design is that the intake is the pretty side...which is functionally useless for these builds. All of these build vids have every fan set to exhaust lol...
hey i think you maybe have the wrong RAM linked? i was trying to find what ram you use on a few videos most don't have anything linked at all. the ram you linked is corsair and you seem to be using some t force model
I see that the top fans intake and side exhaust, correct? I want to do the same duo to the better look of the side fans, but afraid as the hot air goes up as we all know. Can you share your thoughts? Thanks!
Yeah that's right - I've not had any issues with temps to be honest, it would probs be a few degrees cooler the other way round but this case has such good airflow anyway that I've not found it to be a problem!
i'm building my PC right now with this case, the " hot air rises " doesn't matter when it comes to PC, take a dryer , point it down, does the hot air go down ? yes it does ! The hot air goes wherever the airflow goes. i'm also going with side exhaust for the aesthetic ! Top intake, no fans at the bottoms as i also got a lightbox. i'm fine with it as i'm not the kind of person chasing 1 degree here and there.
@@thenative602 Can you please explain what determines when a fan is "intake" vs "exhaust" I know intake means pulling in air and exhaust means pulling air and expelling out in this context. but which way do the fans face to be functioning as intake vs exhaust?
Really love this PC build and am looking at a lot of the same parts. The light box really caught my eye and I just want to ask, how did you get that specific lighting effect? Is it only available on this particular light box brand?
Thanks! So once you've plugged the lightbox into your motherboard, it literally is just recognized as a regular addressable LED strip... The effects on the lightbox are controlled by the motherboards RGB software, so for me it's RGB fusion cos I have a gigabyte board. For asus is it would be aura sync etc... It's just a simple back and forth chasing effect preset within RGB fusion, but yeah you should be able to do this with literally any lightbox, cos there's nothing special about the lights inside, it's just another led strip! :)
@@TechTesseract ah I see, I will be getting the Asus Prime X570-Pro motherboard for an AMD build so I'll check out their lighting presets. Thank you for your help :)
I was thinking the same, i have this case.. side and bottom should be sucking in (filtered).. top out filter taken out.. it has been tested and is the best setup for this case.
I just recently decided to build my own pc and am pretty to it in a whole If i may ask what those NVMe SSD cards are for when i have 2 normal SSD´s instead? Is the NVM worth it? Also, the watercooling is just for the CPU right? Is this water coolung solution good or are there better? And the other fans on the side are just for airflow for the whole case and how many do i need/require? Help is appreciated!
Helmut Rieder the NVMe SSD is slightly faster than a normal ssd, and it costs more. I would say it isn’t worth it, even though I got a 1 tb NVMe for free as part of a deal on prime day. The water cooling solution is a good budget friendly cooler, and it’s pretty good quality. The fans on the side provide intake when you flip them over. He reversed the better order of airflow for this pc, but it’s ok. It won’t affect performance much. I bought 6 Corsair LL120 fans because they have a good aesthetic, even though they’re on the more expensive side.
Nice build … but … setting up your top radiator as intake might not be the smartest thing to do Side and bottom intake would have been better option I have once done a similar thing in a custom loop and that did result in my systeem throttling because other components were getting to hot However this was a 54mm thick quad radiator but it is still something to keep an eye on if you might run in to situations where other components might run to hot
Great build! I have a question for you. I`m using z390 aorus master too. I configure rgb using RGB Fusion 2.0, but during PC boot after shutdown or restart lights become orange. When OS finally boots, my rgb configuration returns back. Do you have the same issue?
Yeah I have the same issue, i think it has to have time to boot and remember what the last saved settings were... same with the corsair rgb fans as well - kinda annoying but hey!
@@TechTesseract In corsair icue programm there is an option called hardware lightning to configure default rgb settings for corsair fans. It is very useful.
Yeah it's a great case! Yeah side intake and top exhaust is definitely better for thermals... But I couldn't not have the corsair fans on display haha! Thanks man! :D
I have the same case and my build looks a lot like yours...exact same setup except Im going to use top 240 aio as exhaust and the 3 side fans as intake...but i was asking for advice and some people say that if I put the 3rd top fan as exhaust it will limit the airflow on the top fan of the 3 side fans...and if I use it as intake it will bring hot air from the aio into the case...
Hey man, I'm doing the same exact build as you right now. Couple questions about the fans. I have the AIO which has the two fans obviously. The connectors on the fans and on the AIO, you put them together and have the USB header attached to the motherboard, does iCue recognize it all and thus let's you control your AIO fans/RGB through iCue and you don't touch the lighting node pro and commander pro. Or do you attach all of this stuff to the lighting pro and commander pro to make it all work? From my understanding attaching everything in terms of independent fans requires the lighting and commander pro to control RGB/Fans, and the AIO will be auto recognized via motherboard USB attachment, thus letting you add more fans in the future to those extensions. Thanks for the help, great build!
You'd get better temps if you moved your radiator one step to the front, and move that fan to the back. You should also put switch the direction of all your fans. Hot air is lighter than cold air and moves to the top.
Just installed a 360mm rad! Yeah you're totally right - It would be much better for temps the other way round with the whole heat rises thing... But I really wanted to see the corsair LL120 fans 😂

Hi 😊 Thanks for the video, I fell in love with this case too and just bought it! Expensive + no fans... in India. I have a few Qs about the fans though, I'd really be grateful if you could reply. Where I live it is really dusty, so with an ATX Mb... . Would it be possible to put in a 360 AIO and mount the radiator vertically on the right side front? If yes... . Can I then put 3 intake fans at the bottom and 3 exhaust fans on top? 120s of course. . Though the opening is small, would the Mb / case permit putting 1 x 120 exhaust fan at rear too? Thanks so much in advance, for your reply 🙏🏽
No. You can get cables from other companies. If you want to (or have to) use your original PSU cables, then you can buy the "extension cables" which are made by many companies such as cablemod, bitfenix or silverstone. If you have a full modular PSU, then you can buy a full cable set from these companies as well, but you need to make sure your PSU will be compatible with the full sets because the PINs out on the PSU will vary between manufacturers and models. For example, not all Corsair PSUs have the same PIN outs, so make sure you research the PSU and cables for compatibility.

I have upHere 120mm fans, in this case, which are budget fans, but they come with a hub, and a controller, that can turn them on & off, and change their colors.
Just moved to the lian li o11 mini and those fans look great
Dope content 🔥
Thanks bro!
this is the most beautiful case, i even ordered one to replace my nzxt h510 elite
Thanks a lot mate! Good question, imma do some tests over the next couple weeks - Will do an update video soon!
I built a pc for a friend and I noticed that side intake and top exhaust work best for air flow. He has a air cooler.
@@TechTesseract 3 years later, still no update video. Guess the thermals were "meh"?
Can you do a non time lapse version of this build it’s kinda hard to understand where everything goes when it’s your first time building a PC
CallMeEvan it was my first time too, I figured everything out though. Watch other videos to figure it out. Here’s my build btw-

Nice. Love this case. Got one myself
Yeah it's a sweet case 👊
pretty clean pc but whats the temp like without fresh air intake?
Hey man, that build is sweet! just wondering what profile/settings you used for the purple/blue fans?
same
hi
100% the case I'm getting! Clean build dude
Sweet! Cheers man
Does this cabinet provide good air flow and what about the temperatures ???
Do you think you can build one of these with two GTX 3090's?
How does it perform? I feel like the light box kinda restricts bottom airflow?
Yeah it's fine - Yeah lol you obvs can't have any bottom fans with the lightbox haha :D
hey i think you maybe have the wrong RAM linked? i was trying to find what ram you use on a few videos most don't have anything linked at all. the ram you linked is corsair and you seem to be using some t force model
Corsair vengeance RGB
this will be my second build but on ryzen3000. Thanks
Subscriptions done
are you doing the 3900x or the other ones?
im also doing a ryzen 3000 build soon and ill think i will do the ryzen 7 3700x for bang of the buck
@@snowxxxxx im also planning on doing the 3800x since i have the 1700x rn
nice !
Codfansince 2006 yes on 3900x, 3950x quite expensive. Im going to upgrade my 1700x
I just love the core i9 box it’s amazing
I see that the top fans intake and side exhaust, correct? I want to do the same duo to the better look of the side fans, but afraid as the hot air goes up as we all know. Can you share your thoughts? Thanks!
Yeah that's right - I've not had any issues with temps to be honest, it would probs be a few degrees cooler the other way round but this case has such good airflow anyway that I've not found it to be a problem!
Ok I actually did the same with my build. I will test it asap
i'm building my PC right now with this case, the " hot air rises " doesn't matter when it comes to PC, take a dryer , point it down, does the hot air go down ? yes it does !
Just bought this case in white XL and will absolutely pick up one of those RGB lightbox's as well. Great build! :)
Sick build!!! 👍🏾👍🏾🔥💯
Thanks! 👊
Can you Make a video where you explain how you sync up al the rgb lights in your pc Great video 💪👍
Rqns they come with a control box that does it for you
Daaaaammnnnn, nice angles bro 💓
How are the gpu Temps with Fan Orientation like yours?
Beautiful build. 1080? Awesome. You can upgrade anytime!
Thanks buddy!
What lighting affect did u have the fans in? Build is 10/10
Light effect: ARC - Thanks man!
I’m a thinking dust management is going to be tough with that fan setup...
I was thinking the same, i have this case.. side and bottom should be sucking in (filtered).. top out filter taken out.. it has been tested and is the best setup for this case.
I just recently decided to build my own pc and am pretty to it in a whole
If i may ask what those NVMe SSD cards are for when i have 2 normal SSD´s instead?
Good answer mate! 👍
@@YTBHM Thank you very much!
Helmut Rieder you’re welcome
Nice build … but … setting up your top radiator as intake might not be the smartest thing to do
Side and bottom intake would have been better option
I have once done a similar thing in a custom loop and that did result in my systeem throttling because other components were getting to hot
However this was a 54mm thick quad radiator
but it is still something to keep an eye on if you might run in to situations where other components might run to hot
Just leave ur pc in sleepmode
Minimize da app it will not appear in da task manager anymore. Do not close it cuz it wont save
Looks great! I loved building in this case for a client. I did my fans a bit different (side Intake / top exhaust). Great work and video!
Yeah it's a great case! Yeah side intake and top exhaust is definitely better for thermals... But I couldn't not have the corsair fans on display haha! Thanks man! :D
Tech Tesseract true! Tough call when trying to show off that RGB bling!
Indeed!
That’s almost $2950 where I live.
👍
@@TechTesseract bruh
Over 3k for me here
Omg satisfying 🥵❤ love ur build
Hey what desk is that? The wood look gorgeous! :)
Thanks! IKEA Karlby worktop in walnut... it's MDF in the middle with about a 4mm real walnut veneer I think!
This is literally part for part (except for the vid card) the exact build I put together on part picker recently. Unfortunately due to "the great covid computer part shortage of 2020", this build is much, much more than 2500 right now 😭
nice bro this is almost identical to my build, minus about $1300 lol
Sweet!
Yes it would be cool. For you to post. A video of your setup. How it was before, & how it is now. Thanks you for posting your video.
Will do man! Just filming it currently!
why a 1080 in 2019
DaFunkyHorse420 because it’s like $300 on eBay
@@JoseJavierRR315 yeah but they don't have very good DX12 support and an RTX 2060 Super isn't that much more, and it's a slightly better card.
DaFunkyHorse420 nah man 1080 all the wya
@@Abdullah-cb4np no lmfao
@@Geomephysicus that's fine if you got it a while ago but for a new build it's just out of place, not to mention difficult to find used in a good condition.
i love this case so much...
@Tech Tesseract could you do a video about all the cables, and which fan hub did you use for the build- the one that comes with the DeepCool Captain 240 ex or the Corsair LL120 fan 3 packs?
Sure!
🙏 thanks!
are the 3 vertical fans ( the 3 fans you put in first, at 2:48) are they blowing air into the case (onto the motherboard) or are they blowing air out (into the room) ? thanks
My whole setup is $2500 ಠ_ಠ
Bargain!
same lul
Love the build bro. What's the color pattern on the fans?
We are at such times where a better visual of the RGB lights of the fans is more important than proper airflow and better temps.
Yep, don't want an ugly build!
Fire build josh🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Ian! 👍

Looks good man!
this case looks fun to build in
It was! Tons of space
@Tech Tesseract any thoughts on building in the XL variant?
Nice set-up friend!
Why would you make the fans on the top radiator pull in air? Hot air tends to rise, so use that in your advantage and make to fans push air out.
Absolutely amazing
Nice build, but it would be better with an updated GPU like a 2080 or 2080ti though. That case is really nice to fit whatever components you wish.
Got the same case. The light bar is cool looking but i slapped 3 corsair LL 120's as intake to keep my 1080ti nice and cool. Later down the line i'm going to hard line it but funds are a little low atm.
This is how the verge's pc should be built
Cool build, thanks for the video.
What was that gel you put on CPU at 4:05?
...thermal paste
Great video. im buying the case, but i was deciding on black or white. i chose black because even though white looks great and clean, i think the black case lets me go for a wider range of colors with my rgb.
i have to ask.. who not go with a 360 rad and put that where you have the 2 LL120's?, then you could still put intake fans on the top and you would have more cooling for the i9 if you overlock
Nice build but airflow doesn't seem optimal at all and I would've opted for a GPU with a backplate.
I went with the razer 011
Ftw3 1080ti
Z390 aorus master
Aorus 3200 16gb ram
Aorus 256gb m.2 ssd
Corsair ml 120 x6
Corsair hx750
Corsair hydro x cpu block
Corsair hydro x 360 rad
Ek g1 distro plate preordered
Purchasing ek gpu block soon with fittings and tubing then finishing my build with corsairs white psu cables
Oh and one ek 360 rad
My build is 6200$...
I’m just surprised how you build a pc so cheap like this and it’s really good!
Is cable mods the only custom cable company that can go through the PSU without adapting the original wires??
I love this build bbrooooo keeep it up
Love your build!! How has it been running without the 3 fans at the bottom? I see most builds with 3 fans at the bottom also, I'm considering both options of your rgb bottom or 3 fans. Thank you!! Great build!!
HardwareCanucks? Did a test on all the different mounts. No fans at the bottom increased the temps by 3-5c
So nice bro good job👌👍👏
looks good, except that deepcool cooler, looks ugly, replace it with nzxt
