( so far my only rc model experience is with balsa model flight simulator/kitbash model club )
for me it is the ultimate edf ... very desirable ... i would pay real money for a bind and fly version 😅 because my building skills may not be good enough , but i love the design and engineering behind it ... simply fantastic

Hey, I just ordered the 30 juniors and I’m wondering where you got a few parts cause the parts list doesn’t look 100% complete. First of all what did you get for the threaded rods and end links for the elevator servos? It says to get a 200mm rod but that seems way too long. Also he says in the video a carbon rod is used to let the elevators pivot but that’s also not in the parts list. Did you figure out what to get? Finally, did you get the 5v version of the UBEC or the 12v? Thanks in advance btw, I’m just a little confused on what to buy
@@trailswithtyler7427 Hi Tyler, thanks for your notes, partlist will be completed soon. Threaded rod: 2x 60mm M2, Elevator Axle: 1,5mm Carbon Rod 2x100mm long, Wing joiner: 4mm Carbon Tube 300mm long. BEC: 5-6V.

This is pretty sweet! Now all I can request is a build video and demo of the full size jet with landing gear! Also, too bad my Prusa MK3 build volume is too small for the full size jet you offer. (250x 210x 210) I will have to upgrade so I can print this beauty. Anyhow, nice work!

That is a strange question 😂 it will be able to take off and land vertically!
Now seriously, if you mean the differences in the build: there are fuselage changes behind the cockpit to allow for a ducted fan and yaw control vanes and also upgraded wings with inbuilt lift fans and fan covers. So some considerable design upgrade.
Make sure you compress the images in the link you gave (the smaller images could also be downsized), it took forever to load them.
I would like to see part list for building model before buying, spare parts etc

Yes, there are many differences so you should buy both.

The VTOL version will be different in so many details, that there is no upgrade version possible. It's ready in about 3to4 months.
I love this model, and interested to buy the 50mm EDF with landing version.
However, from the set I saw only include Cura and Bambu Studio profile, I am having Creality K1 MAX printer, would you able to assist to provide this printer profile?
I can provide the creality slicer settig files for the k1. They should work for the k1max as well.

Кроме того , воздухозаборник не регулируемый, для радиоуправляемой модели сойдет, но не для реального самолёта, он будет сильно ограничен в динамических разгонных характеристиках. Слишком толстый профиль крыла указывает на то, что это игрушечная модель предназначена до дозвуковых полётов на очень низких скоростях.
Your observations are spot on! It is not meant to be an actual jet design but a 3D printed radio control model that can be printed and built and reprinted if damaged 😉

Are there practical differences between the CTOL 50 with and without panel lines. or is it just cosmetic?
Yes, the A1 fits and panel lines is just cosmetic.
This would be incredible if it were scaled up to an 80mm or 90mm EDF. It flies really well. Seems to stall very predictably.
No problem, you can scale it up with your slicer to every size you like.
Would love to see this with a delta wing.. like a Mirage

Twin 50mm edf with RETRACTS? What kind of 50mm edfs are those? 4 or 6s?
I'm using QX Motor 50mm EDFs with 4000kv on 5s.

How is work on the slat scheduler going? Any updates on it?
On the JRM-01 were no slats planned. What do you mean?
On a previous video we and actually talked a little about a scheduler that might be able to use a sensor and either obtain airspeed as a way to extend the slats or angle of attack. You could even compute angle off attack with an accelerometer and use that to extend slats by a certain percentage.
Hi, I fly FPV drones but I am slowly switching to FPV airplanes and I am really curious and this model by any chance do you try set up this RC jet into FPV set up?
Yes, there is already a special fpv front section included.

What’s the advantages to the one with vector nozzles? Is it easier to fly, more maneuverable, or something else?
Yes, it's better controllable at minimum airspeed. It also gives more authority, which is great for aerobatics.
@@renerosentraeger hHey, I just bought the files and am in the process of buying parts. What is the length of the threaded rod needed for the elevator servos? In the parts list it says 200mm but looking at the 3d files it seems it should be much shorter than that

was so close to buying and then I saw the 5s battery (I have 4s and 6s), when the larger version comes out will it support 6s? believe it or not I buy my planes based on the batteries that I own rather than buy batteries for the planes. Looks awesome though.

No problem, I used the 4000kv motors on 5s, cause I got this battery. you can go with the 3300kv on 6s or the 4600kv on 4s.
