  • Almost everyone has heard of the two Dayton, Ohio brothers Wilbur and Orville Wright who made aviation history with the first successful powered airplane flight. However, not everyone knows that their first flight took place right here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills On December 17th, 1903.
    And this week, we’re taking you along with us to this historical location to learn some of the history around that first flight as well as the Wright Brothers monument. So, get ready to take to the air as the sky is the limit right here on History and Relics.
