Honestly your words are so relatable. I definitely lack confidence in my work and since I started my stressful job I’ve had no hobbies. I’ll definitely be picking my hobbies back up because the lack of motivation and confidence has but me in place where I just don’t feel like myself.
Everyone thinks the same, but May puts it out there. Which is why people can connect to her. She feels familiar to ourselves, our mind. She mainly thinks out loud, peptalking and giving herself tips. And we can all hear it! I love her for that. Let's grow together to become better.

I love this video. I sadly relate to so much of the stuff about insecurity. I definitely have so much trouble giving myself slack and not picking apart every part of me and everything about me. I feel so insecure and worthless (I also get sucked into scrolling through shorts) and I feel so alone in my feelings thank you for making me feel less alone and more human. Damn really feeling the same on this one! Life just hasn’t been as exciting as I had hoped for Feb. I been feeling meh for a minute and then we’ve had really bad weather here, flooding and cyclones. There was just so much devastation and destruction, our home got damaged. It’s just been a struggle to stay positive lately 😢 not to mention the guilt of feeling sad for my situation but also knowing it could be way worse like many others and trying to remind myself that my experience is still valid. At least I stuck to going to the gym and working, it’s the only stability I have right now. So I defs get you on the having hobbies! I’m gonna find some hobbies to add into my life this coming week and get outside more cause I’ve defs been on my phone 90% of the time too! I can’t wait to see you get back into your groove playing your guitar and singing again, if that’s a hobby you go back to but let’s all start living more and creating more moments of bliss throughout our days pham ❤❤

mai I totally get you about the feeling insecure about your working - im in my final year of med school and I've been revising for finals with a subconscious voice saying 'you haven't worked enough, you could've worked harder today' etc. I've really been trying to ignore that voice + focus on rewarding myself for meeting goals I've set for myself rather than always pushing for more! trying to learn to be happy and proud of myself for what I've achieved and being grateful for where I am right now rather than always comparing myself to others is my big 2023 goal :) xx

I have been feeling like this too, like realizing I had almost no hobbies but watching videos or spending time on Pinterest (or skipping songs to find some I want to listen to for hours), it didn't make me happy. On the other hand, knowing I can edit videos or pics makes me feel overwhelmed by the amount of ideas I have. I'm working on it right now while also trying to balance it with school and my mental health (because my friends kinda dumped me on prom last week) so these videos are comforting because I feel like we are close friends and actually facetime. I played a couple of them while I was deep cleaning my room yesterday and it made me feel a lot better, so thank you so much Mai!
