Same here .. recently returned from Deadhorse and it is difficult, in the first place, to find a day without wind in the Winter. Thought to bring even a quad but also limited to weight on baggage and who knows if a LiPo battery would make it.

Well now you have to visit the other end in Antarctica.!!.lol....via us here in New Zealand...The US Airforce flies out of Christchurch btw....Regards...Laurie

Heh, there's a place in England called Barrow-in-Furness. It's not in a furnace, but it's definitely warmer that Barrow in Alaska! ;¬)

Next time you are up come by Denali..lots of good places to fpv around here (outside of the National Park though).

You could take a 400 watt wind generator kit and charge the batteries on windy days.
