- The Bad Batch are sent on their first mission as mercenaries to rescue a child from slavers. But of course things aren't as simple as they seem in the fifth episode of season one, Rampage.

Hearing some clones explain what slavery is to another, younger clone whilst all of them have been referred to as "property" multiple times over this show alone was pretty chilling.
Interesting angle.
Yeh that was really meta
I thought of that too. Thinking the clones as "products" of a Kaminoan slave trade, which the Republic openly endorsed... that's scary.
Echo also mentions that The Republic outlawed slavery. It’s been a while since I’ve seen TPM; is that something that was referenced with the reveal of Anakin’s status?
@@pt2k645 Ya
Even though Mucchi isn't the same rancor that Luke kills, it still gives us a better understanding of rancors and why people, like the rancor keeper, become so attached to them. It makes it a little more tragic that Luke had to kill the rancor in RotJ.
Was gonna say, is that the rancor Luke kills?? Glad to hear that it's not, that would have been cruel of Filoni XD
maybe muchi knew another rancor and gave birth to the rancor we see on ROTJ
I'm glad to learn that Muchi isn't the rancor Luke kills in Return of the Jedi. It made me kinda sad watching the episode and how they eventually connected with her thinking this was the same rancor and that Luke killed her in Jabba's palace.
Yea that was my biggest takeaway from that episode - How atached one can be to an animal like a Rancor and I assume that Bibs feelings for Mucchi arent all acting on his half. Makes me eager to cosplay the Rancor guy from ROTJ.
Like Arab princes and racehorses, Jabba could have a whole stable of Rancors. We could see an adult Muchi in The Book Of Boba Fett for all we know.
Love it if they do that
They could have them escape after Jabba’s death, and make them a Star Wars equivalent of Pablo Escobar’s hippos.
Really relieved that Muuchi isn’t the rancor luke kills. After seeing Muuchi I was like awww so cute. Then after seeing Bib show up I was like, no don’t do that!!!
When Cid said that Omega was "clearly the brains of the group" and Wrecker reached his hand for her to high-five, THAT was my favorite moment in the series so far. I don't know why I found it so hilarious, but it seemed totally in character as well as funny. Also can we talk about Rhea Perlman voicing Cid? She was fantastic!
That Weequay and that Ithorian that was fighting eachother in the back when the Bad Barch first entered are the same guys that were helped out of the cell and later seen running around together in the city in the Martez sisters arc. It isn’t that big of a deal but I just thought that was pretty cool tho. It would be nice if these random two friends popped up every once in a while throughout Star Wars.
Tag and Bink ? ? ? ? ? /s (kinda)
I noticed that too
i like that Wrecker had a proper moment. Too often he gets knocked out just to show how strong the big bad of the week ist
I personally like the idea that when someone activates their chips, Wrecker will be the only one whose chip *doesn't* activate, due to the damage. Then the 'big, dumb muscle' of the group will have to save the others.
Ooh, that would be a bait-and-switch for sure
I just his poison chip will be remove soon
For clarification: The Rancor we see in this episode to is NOT the one Luke kills(that was a male named Pateesa). Mucchi is either it’s mother or just another Rancor Jaba owns.
The official episode guide should clear this up.
Yeah, I was really excited once I came to this conclusion for having figured it out and connected the dots, only to be let down by the wiki. But I´m relieved that it wasn´t Muchi who was killed by Luke.
Exactly. I could see Mucchi being a nickname or something, but it’s more likely it’s another rancor. Did they see Muuchi was a she?? Anyway I like to think Mucchi lives a long life free of deadly doors :D
@@CT75674eva they explicit use “she” in the episode and the Aftermath trilogy confirms the Rancor Luke killed was male
@@CT75674eva she’s going to show up in book of boba fett as his and fennec’s newly acquired pet 😌
It would not be the first time in one of Filloni's shows, or even in this very show, that he has thrown out existing canon to make it better fit with his stories. The ending pretty much indicated a ROTJ connection, even if book canon says otherwise
It's interesting that Omega knew who was Cid. Or she has intuition and empathy very well developed or she is force sensitive
I think omega has all of the batches abilities in one package.
She just used the computer in the cantina. Probably looked up "Staff" or something like that lol
I doubt it the Force-sensitive thing. I mean, I could pretty much tell that she was Cid as soon as she hesitated. Omega’s probably just observant.
I think shes probably just observant
It kinda’ came from nowhere. I guessed that the Trandoshan was Cid as soon as I saw her, not because I’m that smart, but because she was clearly the most developed and unique secondary character in the scene. At the same time, I expected that Omega knew some Trandoshan abbreviation that amounted to “cid” from her Kamino book-learning, or spotted something like a name tag, or a sign in Huttese, but the show never explored such paths.
Someone had thrown this idea out at me when I too was horrifically thinking Cid had a pile of Wookiee Pelts behind her. That it could also maybe be a Mudhorn pelt? To go with the Mudhorn horn that she has on her desk?
Wait. Cid's a she??
@@amanms1999 You're kidding right?
Cid is basically canonized Rozatta from the Jango Fett Bounty Hunter game
I wonder which jedi 'echo' learned about Sid from. If there was ever a jedi to work with more 'shady' character, it would surely have to be Anakin. Before echo's 'accident', he would've worked alongside Anakin during his service in the 501st and we know that Anakin has a history of working with less-conventional forces if he believes it if for the greater good (Hondo during the Onderon rebellion, for instance).
I would also suggest Quinlan Voss, this would be totally his kind of contact, but from what I know he and Echo never met so he was probably making reference to Anakin
@@granalmirantethrawn2972 Yeah I was thinking of Quinlan first and foremost but sadly the two never had a shared onscreen appearence.
Another good guess could be Quinlan Vos. He also worked with shady people.
Also, someone get Wrecker some ibuprofen for that recurring headache... 😨
When Echo was explaining slaves to Omega, I was expecting her to brightly ask "Oh, like clones?". It would be a strong moment if Omega straight up didn't understand the big deal with slavery because that's functionally what the clones were. It would give the Bad Batch something wrestle with as well.
Also want to bring up... some awesome synergy going on in Star Wars right now with rancors and Hutts showing up in the HR comics, WOBH comic event, and now Bad Batch. Big thanks to LFL’s creatives and the story group for making it all happen. Now I just need a Rotta cameo in BOBF to make my life complete.
There is a brief moment where you see Omega presses some buttons on the holotable. It's possible she saw some information on one of the side screens.
thats a really good notice of detail, i think u might be right
By looking at Cid's collection in the background and such, would be pretty cool bonus easteregg if that horn 🏆 displayed on Cid's desk at 1:23 was actually from the Mudhorn creature we see in the Mandalorian.
I think it’s cool that Omega took that bow thing from the slavers. Guess that will be her weapon of choice from now on. They gave it quite a bit of attention, and she didn’t use it this episode, so it will probably stick around.
You can see her use it in a trailer. It made some people think the series would have an episode on Dathomir, or she was Dathomiri herself, because it looks like a Nightsister bow.
The high-five was priceless and I love Sid for her sassiness.
I expected Tech to pull a Hiccup HTTYD with the rancor
I enjoyed this episode as the Bad Batch are now doing missions in order to get credits with their first mission rescuing a Baby Rancor for Jabba the Hutt on Ord Mantell.
On top of that, seeing the Zygerrians again makes me hopeful we get to see the planet of Zygerria very soon in the series, and lastly, no this isn't the same Rancor Luke killed in _Return of the Jedi_ as that young Rancor is a female and the one in ROtJ is male.
not a complaint, but it's pretty much the same EP's with Mando.
you got a kid, you got jobs, do this for me and I'll help you etc
What a fun episode! The Bib cameo is interesting to me, wonder if there’s going to be even more connections to Book of Boba Fett in this show beyond Fennec.
I am so worried about Wrecker 😥
Loved the episode. And Cid was amazing. The way she talks and how she lays the ideas down without saying anything is just *chef kiss*, especially her final line about the batches "value". I would like to see more especially with the interactions with the batch. I also liked techs line about how they don't have any data on rescuing a child from a group of slavers and therefore have no operational experience to fall back on, just emphasising that this elite combat team was elite on the battlefield, but in the cut throat world of mercinarys, bounty hunters, slavers, smugglers and Spicer's they are as oblivious as the Regs they used to belittle. Whole new game... And I'm just waiting for a Boba fett appearance. Also, if the batch ends up taking more mercinary works associated with the hutts, blacksun, the crimson dawn or any of the other criminal syndicates it would give the next confrwntation between them and xrosshair a new social dynamic as they may be the hero's and the empire the villains, but from the POV of others the batch would be a group of clone desserters running guns for criminals whilst xrosshair and his new imperial recruited would be the noble heroic empire brining an end to these criminal acts.
Also...Gonkee the gonk droid once again steals the show. R2dwho? Chopwhat? Bbnay? Gonkee yay!
Maybe it was just me, but I thought it was kinda cute that the episode was called “Rampage”, the Batch rescues a rancor, and the first thing Muuchi does once she’s free is the hand motion you’re supposed to do in the Rancor Rampage mini game in Star Wars Kinect
Obi Wan seemed to enjoy shady characters - Ventress, Dexter, Hondo. I could see him buying Cid a drink
We love to see Echo getting some more spotlight. I hope we get some more characterization for Tech in the future. He’s a bit too calculated (I guess that’s the point though) and blunt. I think we need to see him soften up with not only Omega but with the team itself. Also, seeing Omega get the bow is cool. I was a bit worried after seeing it in the trailer and thinking it was going to be something goofy like Ezra’s slingshot.
I am still hoping Xizor will show up in one of these shows one day.
It was good to see Zygerrians again
The thumbnail on DisneyPlus kinda gave away that there was gonna be a Rancor in this episode so I predicted that Sid was working with Bib Fortuna
plus star wars explained did it
I thought it was so precious that Omega not only painted her clone trooper doll in Bad Batch colors, but refers to the trooper as "she."
The Jedi in rancor was mistreated by Jabba so it makes me think that Jabba had multiple rancors over the years
Yeah I could easily just see this being one of many rancors Jaba owns or he killed it as soon as it gave birth to a male rancor
Wrecker is still apparently having issues with his "migraines."
Another thread dangling, undoubtedly to pay off later, likely with quite dramatic results. 👍
I think it’s interesting that Fenik is hired to capture a kid (Omega) and then this episode the Bad Batch are hired to capture a “kid” (Muchi)
Morality is from a certain point of view.
This just clicked in my head: we're gonna find out that Omega is a force sensitive, someone in the group will compare here to the jedi, and the microwave alarm sound is gonna ding in Wrecker's head and he's gonna go "good soldiers follow orders"
I loved the bit about Fennec being new to the bounty hunter profession. Reminds me of when Boba first started out.
Lucas finally gets the Godzilla tribute he wanted with the Rancor, heheh. I totally thought that one chubby prisoner was going to turn out to Malakili too, but I guess not.
Malakili must be at his teenager years during TBB
@@matheuss886 By the time we got to Mandalorian and Bo Katan looks like she aged maybe a month for every year Kenobi aged, I’m just thinking aging in Star Wars just doesn’t matter.
@@henryhammond7393 Yeah. There could be something to do with relativity or something. Padme's belly just expands in a whim in ROTS. Bo-Katan and Fennec haven't aged at all. Meanwhile Obi-Wan aged 40 years in 20 and Tarkin 10 years in just a couple.
I wasn’t expecting THE twist. What a fantastic episode
it was a really entertaining episode! i don’t know why they made the decision to make episodes shorter 😂
Great video man!
Anyone else get a false sense that Rex was just going to show up when Omega was alone?
Did anyone notice Omega fiddling with the holotable before she went over to sid and called him out??? Maybe that's how she got his name??? Idk
1:08 Fennec Shand's theme (instant flashback)
The smug look on Omega's face as she rode on the back of the Rancor made my day.
Also, I love seeing how quickly Omega is adapting to living and operating as a part of the Bad Batch; having some fun with the commlink but using it sparingly in the mission, using hand signals, sneaking around the compound, escaping the ship, and repainting her clone trooper doll to make "her" a Bad Batcher.
I get worried that she'll mess up, which not only puts her in danger but means her brothers will have to save her, and instead she surprises me with her competence. Since when is the child character in an action show so competent?
It was cool to see the Ord Mantell sets that were originally designed/created for the Dark Disciple 4-parter. (Still holding out hope that we can see that some day)
Another good episode but we need to see our boy Crosshair again soon.
Omega probably found out Sid's identity when she was playing with the computer.
Yes, she's just really inquisitive and observant, no more, no less.
I was hoping Rex would return to save Echo from the big flying lizard - Giving Echo a new blood handprint on his new armor
It was a interesting episode... I've read some people didn't like it because it didn't push us towards the goal but I think the goal is making omega feel like a valuable part of the team they were broke last week they needed money this went a long way to help them out with that also..
I mean, it drives me crazy because people literally don’t even know what the goal is. Look at what happened in Mando, some people hated that S1 episode with Bill Burr and he came back in S2 and delivered an amazing performance in one of the best eps of the season.
Not to mention, space whales... the painted tie fighter... everything is going to come together later, people need to chill lol.
@@rachelmeier9444 I agree just wait for the end then decide what works best for you 😂😂 I loved the sisters arc in clone wars because it gave the show a breather and it also shows that the Jedi weren't viewed as heros by the general public they were sometimes viewed harshly
@@lifeasafanpodcast9529 I also liked the sisters arc. We needed both a Rex and Ahsoka arc in S7 to show their growth and maturity as characters. It was a fitting end to the show. Plus now that it seems like they might be making several of the unfinished arcs as mini movies, maybe people will stop complaining lol.
@@rachelmeier9444 if you step back watch the movie then watch the last season where Ashoka gets kicked out of the order then the last season starting with the sisters arc then watch the rex and Ashoka in rebels you can really tell what Dave wanted from the start an introduction to these two characters to the growth of their relationship over the years the clonewars to me was a rex and Ashoka story with others dabbed in and it pays off in the end in mandalorian and rebels
I personaly think people get angry about 'filler' episodes because the way of storytelling in the Bad Batch and the Mandalorian is different from both Clone Wars and Rebels and some fail to understand it.
The Clone Wars and Rebels were set during wartime. In the Clone Wars we mostly saw different fronts of the war while in Rebels the Ghost's crew was embarking on different missions for the Rebel Alliance.
The Bad Batch and the Mandalorian are set post war. The Mandalorian takes place after the defeat of the Empire when the Outer Rim is basicly 'Wild West' for the Galaxy.
The Bad Batch being set after the Clone Wars shows Galaxy dominated by the growing Empire.
Therefore these new shows are bound to feel different than the previous ones.
The Clone Wars and the Rebels were building up to either the end of the arc or the finale of the season/show.
The aim of the Mandalorian and the Bad Batch however isn't only about the ending, but it's about the road leading to it, travelling through the Galaxy and experiencing adventures along the way.
This series is going far better than I could have hoped; the character development of Omega is fantastic, information & lore about future characters and creatures, episode development has been on-point, and.. we get to see a 'baby' Rancor.
The way Wrecker wears out a baby rancor is far more than I ever would have hoped to see from the series, Omega continues to impress and be arguably more intelligent than the rest of the Bad Batch, and her character doesn't feel too 'rushed' or even 'out of place' to any capacity. At the same time, we get to delve deeper into the more untouched parts of the lore, like the Rancors and their behavior(s) around others and how they develop. So much storytelling is being fit here, and it's working.
This is the Star Wars we've wanted, and I just cannot wait for more.
I bet Cid is a Final Fantasy reference, returning the favor of FF having used Wedge and Biggs as recurring names
would be a full circle if we ever see Cid in a spaceship.
That would be amazing
Neat.
Any Star Wars fans familiar with Final Fantasy? Remember how Square Enix (or Squaresoft in the old days) named several Final Fantasy characters after Biggs and Wedge (and in one game, an anagram of Anakin)? Lucasfilm just returned the favor in the form of Cid (every Final Fantasy game has a character named Cid, for those who are unaware).
Great episode!! I spent the entire hour after watching the episode worrying if Mushi was the rancor in return of the Jedi, thank god she isn’t!! And can we’ll agree mushi is the cutest and most terrifying thing ever lol
Me before this episode “why are people so into rancors” me during this episode “LOOK A BABY”
@@rachelmeier9444 I’m totally on the same page 😂 I don’t know how they managed to make a completely monstrous creature so freaking adorable
0:24 exactly loll
Omega was fricking adorable
I like when they entered the ruins of Old Ord Mantell City. It reminded me alot of another ruined city that you showed years ago in the canceled season 7 and 8 concept art.
I’d still say this episode is definitely implying that Moochie is in fact the same Rancor. I doubt the creators expect the casual audience to know about a separate rancor only mentioned fleetingly in a novel from a few years back. Same thing with the change to Kanan’s order 66 experience. The story group isn’t as good as we’d like it to be, so its important to keep in mind that films and series take precedence over comics and books. Of course your head canon explanations can be whatever you’d like
So cool that Omega found the bow we saw in the previews!
Someone noticed that Omega called the clone soldier a "SHE is a bad batcher now" in 8:59 ?
Yep
Makes sense. A girl would likely see her toy trooper as a girl. It’s what she wants to be. A true member of the team.
Yup. I wonder if she's thinking of getting armour like her brothers' in the future.
Why didn't they make that Rancor Muchi the one that Luke kills in ROTJ?? That would've been such a cool tie in and timeline wise with that rancor's age it would've worked!
It probably is. We've seen several instances in the past year where info in comic books and novels was retconned to fit a TV episode. The last one was Kanan's origin in this very show
@@richardjohnson9543 ya I saw that one really weird
I don’t know if anyone else noticed these, but Sid had 3 helmets in her room, a white Mandalorian Helmet (similar to Boba Fett’s prototype armor helmet), a TCW Clone Pilot helmet, and a Phase 2 clone helmet.
Also, when Sid’s holoprojector turns on, it makes the same sound as the Legacy Lightsabers/Savi’s Workshop lightsaber when you put in or take out a blade in them.
The A-Team of the Star Wars universe.
I hope to see Cody's story episode where take place in revenge of the sith, Like Bo-katan, it probably his troopers will betrayed him for Clone paratrooper become new leader of 212th after Cody want searching for obi-wan kenobi and then He will escape his troopers and Utapau.
Hey! When watching this episode of the Bad Batch, I couldn't help but notice a slave who had an uncanny resemblance to Malakili who handled Jabba's creatures in Return of the Jedi. Considering the prominent parts Muchi the rancor and Bib Fortuna play in the episode, I was more and more sure of his identity as the episode went on. Could you do a video on the subject? It is extremely hypothetical but is interesting to me personally nonetheless. Thanks!
The main thing with this episode is that it finally shows how echo puts on his helmet.
They are doing a great job of making Omega the loveable/relatable "protaganist" Loving the heavy NZ accent
True, her accent is great.
Perfect title for the episode; "Rampage." Very appropriate. 👍
I'm like 99% sure Muchi was intended to be the same Rancor from RotJ and it's another retcon like what happened in the first episode. After all, Cobb Vanth's section from Aftermath has already been slightly retconned by The Marshal.
Sure, Aftermath tells us that the Rancor in the palace has a different name.
But Filloni's Star Wars shows have had a pretty constant habit of changing and throwing out existing canon. From the Ahsoka novel, to the Kanan comic etc...
So I think its pretty clear by the episode that its intended to be THE rancor, even if previous canon would indicate otherwise
The aftermath novel had a Rancor baby so Mochi would be the mother.
I think that Muchi is the same rancor and it’s another case of books/comics don’t matter. Only what’s on the screen matters.
Pablo Hidalgo said there isn't enough information to assume Muchi and Pateesa are the same, so I agree with your headcanon. It was was a really fun episode too!
I’ve been rewatching this season in anticipation of The Bad Batch season 2. This was a fun episode.
I hope they bring up them investigating their chips again soon. With all of Wrecker’s headaches it seems stupid none of the team (especially Tech) have thought to check Wrecker’s chip or at least mention on screen that Tech is still working on figuring out the chips
I like the idea of the batch coming across a jedi in hiding, for for that to be when Wrecker's chip kicks in
Wrecker's high five with Omega was so cute
I was wondering if they would go to Ord Mantell after last week's episode. There was concept art of Pantora for unmade episodes of the Clone Wars, so I figured they may have chosen that planet because they had already designed it but didn't get to use it. I remembered Ord Mantell being another such planet.
Really loved this episode. I'm always a sucker for underworld dealings and morals being tested. I'm really dreading the outcome of Wrecker's malfunctioning chip, I also need to believe everything will be okay. Muchi made me love Rancors even more. All in all a fun ride with interesting development.
I think Mucchi is supposed to be Jabba’s Rancor. I like that better because the idea of the Bad Batch being the ones who captured Jabba’s pet, which we saw nearly forty years ago, is a really fun idea.
Muchi is so cute!
00:22 can't believe you didn't say "if that isn’t the Quacta calling the Stifling Slimy" 😆
It was fun hearing Liam O' Brien's voice, Vaxildan and the Zygerrien are one in the same.
It would be interesting if them working for Jabba could mean something Breaking Bad-esque for the future of the show. Like they now are tagged by a criminal and such criminal knows their whereabouts, so he comes back later to bother the Bad Batch and shake up their already troubled days
I'm gonna cry with whatever is being built up with wrecker. I just know it.
Im so glad we finally get to see Clone Wars style Bib Fortuna
I love that Carla (from cheers) was Sid
Omega's not Force sensitive, it's her intuition.
Notice that Cid wasn't surprised that this girl figured it out. There was no, "How did you know who I was?" reaction. Cid was just like, "You must be the brains of the group," like it should've been obvious. And Omega didn't just walk in and sense who she was, she was watching Cid while the Batch was arguing, probably picking up subtle clues and piecing it together. Omega's abilities seem to include heightened insight and problem-solving, but I no longer see her as a Force clone.
That could change and I've been wrong before, but at this stage, I'm not really seeing it.
The ending is to funny with the rancor fight with Wrecker
it would be a fun call back and tie-in to have the Fallen kid contact Omega for help in season 2.
Wrecker’s inhibitor chip will become a liability. I have a bad feeling about this.
Great episode. Omega is so great, and works much better than the other kid protagonists in animated series did when they started (obviously Ahsoka evolved into an amazing character but her intro was rough). And I would like to think that if it was meant to be Pateesa, then she would have had a shackle on the wrist and the earing, rather than a collar.
How was ashoka's intro rough?
@@j.s.oliver2447 she was annoying
@@omarbaba9892 such a deep and thorough critique. I mean she really wasn't
Does anyone know how long Rancors live? Perhaps this is the mother of Pateesa. There is also the possibility that Jabba could be breeding Rancors for whatever reason. However, I didn't even think about the fact that the Bad Batch just pulled a job for a crime lord, I was just caught up in the connection, not what it could actually mean.
I'm worried about Wrecker's headache...
Me to I don't want that to happened
Cid better be happy she wasn't running her mouth at a certain other squad of commands
Wrecker's headache....told ya, Alex!!
I don’t want to see what happens to Wrecker, i hope the batch will just lock him and then Tech will take his inhibitor chip out
I wish we had learned more new information for the plot. We already knew who Fennec Shane was so it would have been nice to have the reward of knowing who hired her.
You didn’t mention finally seeing how echo puts that helmet on!
i love that
While I do think it’s important that omega gets integrated as a member of the team, I don’t like how she seems to always be the one to save the day, to the point where the rest of the squad seems to be getting their butts kicked over and over again. Remember when they fought off an entire column of droids signal handed with no backup? Now all it takes is a few zygerians and they’re captured. Hunter should’ve been able to sense the creature before it even had a chance to attack Echo. Wrecker can lift and LAAT but he gets knocked out by a single punch from Fennec? It just seems weird to me.
Ok I'm glad Muchi seems to be a different rancor to the one in ROTJ because it was breaking my heart thinking she'd one day be killed by Luke, even if he had no choice. Even knowing what she'll grow up to be, she was still cute and innocent, it was rough watching her get whipped and everything, it's just plain cruel.
I don't think Cid is as bad as she seems, yes she's a criminal obviously but she seemed to be like an informant or something for the Jedi. She may have some morals that we haven't seen yet and I didn't see her saying the Batch were "valuable" as a threat, I interpeted it as her seeing that the Batch are valuable as employees but we'll see, I just don't think it was malicious. Cool to finally see the Batch enter the mercenary world and I liked Omega a lot and she's just picked up her energy bow so I think we'll be seeing more action from her. And I am fully convinced she is Force sensitive now because either that or she's a human lie detector. Really worried about Wrecker though because he took a LOT of extra hits in this episode.
Going to Ord Mantell made so much sense too, not just as a criminal hub but also because it was supposed to appear in an unproduced TCW arc that was adapted to the Son of Dathomir comic, IDK if that was intentional but it's a fun thing I caught while watching
I'd like to point out that the Bad Batch actually were not working directly for Jabba, or Bib either, but were working for the middle man/woman, Sid.
Great insight Alex
Man I was so worried that Rancor was the one Luke killed. So relieved to see that it's not.
I really don't see any possible way that the Bad Batch could have any inkling that Mucchi was being given to Jabba the Hutt. How could possibly know that? They've never met Cid, much less Bib Fortuna, much LESS Jabba (well I suppose they COULD have met those two, but were given no indicator whether they have or not), and they didn't even see the trade-off, if I recall.
I can only see that as a nod to the fans, to give the episode a connection to ROTJ 😉. Nothing else makes sense to me, lol. By your logic, they should have known that Fennec Shand was coming after them last episode because it was shown on-screen 🤷🏻♂️.
I bet Omega is force sensitive and Wrecker goes crazy trying to get her when his chip malfunctions.
Holy crap, thats good thinking... thats how she reveals she has the force, that would be sick
