Thankful nobody was killed (this time). 🤷🤷♂🤷♀
I have no idea why the cammer is honking at the white truck changing lanes at 6:22. There was no "cut off" it just driving in traffic. When I was commuting, this happened 50 times a day at least, and there was nothing unsafe about the white trucks lane change. The white truck brake checking was a gross over reaction to the honking, but the cammer then proceeded to risk innocent lives on the freeway by driving like a complete jack ass.
Yesterday a vehicle two cars up slowed dramatically, and it led to an accident. Not to them, but to two cars behind me (and I was VERY lucky not to be hit, I was missed by inches... maybe less. Looking at my footage I can see how close it was). I don't know why the car slowed, but this can be the result of some jackasses on the road brake checking people. It might not impact the car you want to road rage against, but innocent people further back could end up being the victim because Mr. Road Rage wanted to "teach somebody a lesson".

Exactly. Guaranteed hours of wasted time and energy. The absolute best outcome is the other idiot is uninsured and he has uninsured motorist coverage and it's still a bunch of hassle. The rewards of good defensive driving is avoiding needless aggravation.
Right of way is part of traffic laws and makes driving safer and more predictable. When idiots give up their right of way in an attempt to be "polite" or other idiots dont care who has right of way it causes unpredictable situations and confusion and almost always results in an accident. The cammer in #4 hardly has time to stop. That car swerved into his lane at the last second. He honked to warn him that he was there but the idiot ignored the honks and made that move in a split second. It's insane to me that you blame the cammer for not being able to avoid someone elses reckless driving. This situation had nothing to do with right of way and everything to do with someone making an unexpected and illegal maneuver without a care in the world for anyone else. You cant predict what other drivers will do, when I watched the clip I definitely didnt think the car would swerve like that. I thought he was going for the other lane. You dont know what you'd do in these situations.
@@ItsmeBish584 at 1:06 was the time to slow to a stop when the other driver was making a legal but reckless maneuver. If you ask the Cammer I surmise they'd say they wish they had. Considering his reaction being clueless to where she came from, I bet her car was blocked by his A-pillar until it was too late. Crazy how someone can run a red light causing a crash, and you be partially at fault.

8:26. Cammer put his blinker on too soon. Lady thought he was turning. Cammer lacks common sense. Lady shouldn’t trust blinkers. Wait a second and see what the other driver’s doing.
Yup. In a situation like this (where I'm in a right turn only lane), I actually won't signal that I'm turning right so there's no way for me to confuse the person wanting to pull out.
Regardless, the person entering a highway or lane of travel that is occupied needs to yield to traffic already occupying the lane of travel. And depending on where you live, you are required to signal up to 300ft before a turn, so your comment doesn’t even make legal sense. Some people just like to blame the cammer for not being completely perfect, even when they are not in the wrong 😑

1:16 Cammer "oh my god, what are you doing." Cammer needs to get their eyes checked or stop driving distracted because there was plenty of time to slow down to avoid this situation.
I think it's worse than willful ignorance. It's willful endangerment. The fact that he veered towards the shoulder as the other driver passed shows that this was done on purpose. Yes, it's very scary that people like him is out on the roads 😡
8:20 - There's a saying that goes "Cop didn't see it, I didn't do it." Cop didn't see her on the phone, and all your finger pointing won't force them to give her a ticket.
Anyone think that dashcams save the owner money but in general are raising insurance rates across the board? Seems like a lot of people don't bother to avoid accidents they know full well wont be their fault.
Yeah kind of makes sense that they're making some grey insurance claims, argue that the other person is at fault, get paid for the damages, get your car "fixed" at a cheap place and pocket the rest
As much as I enjoy dashcam youtube channels, maybe the problem is having the ability to create situations in order to get attention/reactions. If more drivers uploaded footage of good defensive driving, and clips showing cammers instigating and purposely causing dangerous situations were banned....
Yesterday I had a very near miss. I'd have been hit if any of a number of small things had gone differently. I was never processing that it wouldn't be my fault if I got hit. I was processing how to avoid it.
#7--let me fix that for you, person backing up didn't check and the person already on the road couldn't see them around the red truck and had no time to react. It is the responsibility of the person backing up to make sure the way is clear, not anyone else.
@@spamlessaccount Commentary implies the driver that was already on the road was driving over the 25 mph speed limit. The initial comment that this is in reference to takes away the trying to force the blame on the person on the road and focuses it on the person backing out. So to fix your statement. No that is NOT what the commentary said.
4:42 It's never the cammers fault, is it? "I'm almost getting into accidents constantly. This car must be haunted. It couldn't possibly be because I can't drive for shit!"
#15 4:32 Cammer states that the intersection is so notorious, they mounted their phone with video recording, prior to driving that stretch of road, for just this sort of thing. All that preparation, all that fore-knowledge, all that prior experience, and best Brandon can manage is to just drive right into the hazard. Makes Brandon look like maybe he was just trying to "generate content".
#15: It’s not the car, Brandon. You anticipated there would be an issue at this intersection but failed to slow down to give yourself time and space to react and avoid a collision.
#7 (2:05): No, the trick is to avoid BACKING OUT in the first place whenever possible. It's much safer to BACK INTO a spot as you can then DRIVE FORWARD when you are leaving. That way you have a much better view of traffic on the road you are about to enter. Not to mention that backing into a driveway will have your trunk pointed at the house, which makes loading or unloading the car easier as you don't have to lug stuff around the car.
3:05 - first off, what's with the dashed line? Roads like that have NO business having passing allowed. 4:40 - I can see why you're almost getting into accidents a lot. You had PLENTY of time to slow down a Civic once that light turned yellow. That doesn't excuse the other driver's actions, but I also saw almost no attempt to slow down until just before the collision even though you had PLENTY of presence of mind to lay on the horn directed at someone that hadn't yet started moving. 6:00 - maybe with your new truck you can get a new dashcam, if you're ever allowed to drive a rig again after ignoring the bridge height 6:30 - waaaahhh, my ego was hurt because someone merged in front of me...
#1 0:02 Hope this cammer sees how much they are being roasted in these comments. Talk about a toxic combination of entitlement and aggressive stupidity. Other driver wasn't trying to "avoid having to slow down", they were trying to avoid rear-ending this jackass that just cut them off. The topper is the swerve to the left to block followed by the horn. What a terrible driver.
It's also amazing how many of these accidents could have been avoided by people having situational awareness. Also there are brake pedals in every vehicle people.
00:36 At first I didn't know if the cammer was going to ram the mini van or get in a wreck with the guy trying to merge from an ending lane. Glad nobody was killed at least (I hope?), especially a kid in a completely unrelated car (again). 🤷♂🤷♀🤷
4:50 the car isn't haunted, you refuse to use your brake because you've got a dashcam to prove it's the other person's fault...which it might be but you can prevent accidents as well
I am confused why the cammer saw an obvious hazard in front of them and decided to intentionally ram the other car instead of just gently tapping the brakes in order to avoid a collision, there's an entire brake pedal they could have used without having to move their foot more than 6 inches...
@@GratefulforFreePress but the civic had an entire lane it was supposed to be in, not to mention from looking at the beginning they weren't even in a lane. So the real question still stands, why did the Civic PIT itself when it had an entire lane it was supposed to be in?
I've only seen the first four videos so far and in 1, 3 and 4, the cammer easily could have prevented all three. Question of the day: How many IQ points does the average driver lose when they install a dash cam?
1:18 yeah that's on the U turner. Sue them for damages from the three most expensive body shops there are. If they total the car, get three super expensive examples of your car plus loss of use and rental. THEN file an injury claim and take them BACK to court. My favorite hobby.

Can't make this stuff up!
I was hoping to see the caption "forwarded to police. They called ME a dumbass and gave ME a ticket" 😂🤣

#4 - you're an idiot to not slow down. I'll wager that dashcam will be your ruin in court.
I'm 74 and haven't ever been involved in an accident while driving except being rear ended at a stop light in 1999 and luckily I wasn't injured. The best outcome is not being involved and this Cammer absolutely squandered that opportunity at 1:06.
@@ItsmeBish584 I am not blaming anyone. I am merely stating that choosing not to use his brakes has caused him months of aggravation.
