Anyday xuv is better, hector petrol has 5kmpl mileage and in diesel there is no automatic variant.
very true, XUV700 is way overpriced. Lacks features that MG Hector has, you can pretty much get their top variant for AX7 price, full loaded and brimming with features

no volume control knob - volume control only on steering wheel & through touch screen which is irritating & not convenient, it's a 3 step process just to change volume from screen
no usb charger at front, only 1 type C on 2nd row, 1 12 v adapter socket in 3rd row
mirrors don't autofold
headlights are LEDs - but without autoboost - u can't even change bulbs
AX5 is not most VFM variant. it is the "most waste of money" variant u don't get anything actual useful other than 2 extra airbags
go for AX5 select - u can upgrade headlight bulbs, u get sunroof, push button start & save 1.2 lac rupees
or go for AX7 - u get auto boost headlights, ADAS, R18 wheels, leather interior, volume dial, auto fold mirror, & all 6 airbags
