- I head off to camp in the desert. I find a peaceful spot and enjoy the being in nature and having a camp fire. I also talk about how I stay safe out in the wild.

Another great camp!
3 more for the pop-up...surely, right?
Thanks for taking us along.
Bears beware!
Thanks. I’ve been thinking, and I think I may get more than 3. We’ll see.
Always enjoy watching your adventures, Omar. This is just me but I prefer listening to the sounds of nature and the sounds of the gear being setup over customer service hold music blasting, not sure if you want viewer feedback or not =)
Hey, no worries. Music is one of those things I’m always messing with. When to use it, how loud, and so on. Can’t win them all, but thanks for your thoughts.
Great video! I'm actually from Arizona myself, and I can say I really miss the desert and all those big bright stars, especially the Arizona weather! I've spent many nights camping in the desert, and all the coyote sounds late at night are great stuff! Thanks for sharing your video!
Glad you enjoyed to video. I love going out in the desert to star gaze. It’s so beautiful and majestic. 🙏
@OmarDoinStuf what type of camera do you use for the star gazing at night in your videos? I'd love to have an awesome camera like that!
@joshsozarkadventures1506 I use a my GoPro. It’s has a function that’ll take care of everything. I do some adjustments in the editing room but I think most action cameras have the function too. I also made some adjustments on my GoPro. I’m not a technical person, so I looked it up and just have the settings save. So all I have to do now is point and shot.
You are definitely at a spot I’d love to visit when I make it out that way. I want to be among many, many cactuses. 🌵
Well, you’re in luck. Arizona has them just about everywhere.
Cacti, bro.
I’m confused 🤔 ….. Side note, there are different varieties too.
@@michaeltaylor4984Cactuses is also appropriate. Sounds better to me. But thanks.
@@OmarDoinStufThere are places that have several varieties. But I am mainly interested in saguaro.
Awesome video man they just keep getting better and better. Question how did you take that video of the stars. Been wanting to learn that for a long time?
Most action cameras offer a time lapse setting. You just point the camera into the sky, it’ll record for 10-60 minutes and give you seconds or minutes of footage
@ cool I’ll try that.
There are many ways. I use my GoPro. It has a feature that’ll take and make the time lapse for you. I just adjust some settings and when editing I will adjust the exposure a little to see the stars better.
I plug my GoPro into a power bank so I can record the whole night.
@ o wow so you record the whole night? What settings do you use?
Cool but where’s the gun?
If I need a gun to feel safe when I go camping, I’m in the wrong area.
@ Every camp spot is the wrong area. Why hope not to get killed. It’s just a gun, just like it’s bear spray.
@@OmarDoinStufHand to paw combat with a bear or puma will earn you the Darwin Award. You don't have to kill them until the moment they decide to eat you.
All I can say is, to each their own. You can prepare for everything, have everything, and still be screwed. I feel 100% safe out there. Even without having the bear spray.
Rule of thumb: Do not leave the spray in your vehicle, especially in high temps. The spray does have an expectation date, but things can happen to the nozzle, so test it ever so often.
Thanks for the info. Living in Phoenix, I leave all liquids or batteries, for that matter, in side my home. Temps are crazy out here.
