The Skeleton is the framework of the body. Without it the body would be without form and it wouldn’t even be possible to walk upright. Among it's many functions the skeleton serves to protect vital organs, such as the brain, the heart and lungs.

On the image of the wrist, I can only count 7 of the 8 Carpals. I was thinking about the up/down symmetry of the body, with the waist in the middle, and I note there are only 7 Tarsals. In both directions (up and down from the waist) we have the pelvis / shoulder blades, which have similarities, then the ball joints of shoulder and hip, then the long bones to a sliding joint, then two bones in the extremities of the arm and the leg, then a bunch od little bones in the wrist and in the ankle, the Tarsals / Carpals, and the bones of the hand/fingers and the feet/toes.
imagine paying school tuition when you can learn it here :(
lol
Just stop imagining

What you see in social media is just a tip of the ice berg ....in addition if all would be found in the internet , therefore would be no medical schools in the world...

The ribs main function isn’t to protect vital organs such as the heart. It’s to provide negative pressure within the thoracic cavity so that atmospheric pressure can bring air into the lungs.

Hi there! I came across your impressive RUclips video featuring the 3D models from BioDigital. I'm running a small human anatomy channel in Spanish, and I'm really interested in using their 3D models as well. Could you please share how you obtained permission or reached an agreement to use their models on RUclips? Your response would mean a lot to me as I aim to provide educational content to my audience while respecting copyright and licensing requirements. Thanks a bunch in advance! 😊
