I’m very happy with Maye, it gives me hope. We lost our winning culture when we lost Brady, Edelman, Slater. We need to rebuild talent and culture the next couple years. I’m torn on Mayo. I loved him as a player, and I believe it takes more than 1 year, especially with this roster to improve. I want to keep believing in him. However, the coaching staff has felt a little “off” this year. I’ve never worked in the NFL, so I won’t pretend to be an expert, but something just isn’t feeling right. To be fair, I said the same about Joe Mazzula 2 years ago, but I think he was crucial in leading the Celtics to the championship. At least he has talent on his roster. We’ll see what happens, I just hope we don’t turn into a “black hole” organization like the jets, browns, raiders… fingers crossed 🤞
Henry is 30, and is still quality so no I dont think TE is a top priority. However if a good TE prospect is available in rounds 3-7 then why not take him and develop him behind Henry for a year or 2
@Messimiles9you don’t need 4 OL’s, you neee 2-3 bruh, Mike Onewenu, David Andrews, Ben Brown & if Caeden Wallace/Cole Strange work out these last weeks your looking at needing 2 a LG & LT, but realistically you need 3
@@JustanotherAccount6284 David andrews is old so could use a center bc Ben brown isn’t cutting it. Then need a LT and a RT depending on if caedan Wallace plays good. Then we need depth at guard bc we had a bunch of injuries and need oline depth so we’re not having shitterd for oline man
@ Okay but that’ll be handled in Free Agency, you don’t waste draft picks on such a weak draft (like this year’s) on anything but positional players that can play make & make a difference like WR, CB, EDGE, DL, etc, the Patriots according to my predictions will make a single selection at OL & not touch it again
The biggest issue appears to be in good hands with Maye. Plus there is a smattering solid young talent like White, Barrimore, Gonzalez, Marcus Jones. Stevenson, Gibson. Douglas. Throw in a blue chip talent like Hunter, Carter, Johnson, Graham or McMillan in the first round would help considerable. Add a few quality free agents and day two picks to help at WR and OL and the Pats could be a team nobody wants to play next year.
Next year might be a stretch, but if they can take a similar approach to how Buffalo developed and improved in Josh Allens first few years, then I do think this team can get back to their winning ways by 2026 or 27
I think if they fire their whole coaching staff and get some experience coaches and draft Travis hunter, a LT, sign tee higgens and some oline man, along with drafting edge and other positions I think the pats can make the pkayoffs
The biggest problem with the Patriots is the year after year of terrible drafts. Besides Maye, Barmore, and Gonzales, there is no one the Patriots have drafted in the last 5 + years that would start on any other team. A few might be good backups or role players, but that's it.
Trade down get tet or Campbell in the first booker and Landon Jackson in the second and then get Savion Williams, Harold fannin, gunner helm, or Luke kennard in the third
Tbh it's hard to say which side is worse. If you wanna say defense well the talent isn't really there and the coaching isn't helping, which is exactly what you could say for the offense.
Fire mayo an hire vrabel, sign Tee Higgins and cam Robinson (billed resigned with Denver) and then draft Tet McMillian from and then 2 OL in rounds 2 and 3. That’s the offseason goals without question. You offer Tee Higgins literally whatever the number is that it takes

@@MetroSportsYTbc there’s more glaring holes. Why draft a tight end when u need like 4 OL, Better WR, a CB, a lb, edge

Maybe not next year but in 2026, 2027. Their biggest issue is coaching in my opinion.

3:48 Kyle Dugger was a second round pick.
My apologies might have misspoke there
Just have to hope the front office actually takes care of business
I think they will be aggressive
Travis Hunter or Teta is the pick imo
Dugger is a second round pick and he is solid to say the least.
41.2 coverage grade via PFF. Solid might be a stretch imo
@@MetroSportsYTtbf Dugger is playing on a bum ankle & came into the season ranked Top 11(along with jabril peppers#9) on PFF’s Top 32 safeties.

They might need to assess their scouts
Bolles signed an extension with Denver unfortunately
:,( hello darkness my old friendddd

Put this man in charge!!!
@ that’s what I’m saying!
Get Travis Hunter play him at wideout and corner sign ronnie stanley and draft OL in 2nd rd
Get a new coach and general manager and they will be better off
Give up on Mayo already??
Defense isn't better
I would say its much better than the offense. Not a good unit, but the offense is even worse, tho I love Maye

Put this man in the front office!! Bro is cooking here
Vrabel is a defensive coach too what has he won that makes you want him so bad
