    I remember that my youth pastor once sent all the young adults in the church a letter saying that we should not listen to music like Wild Thing by Tone-Loc because it didn't glorify God. He was later fired for embezzling the church's funds.

    I met Tone Loc maybe around 2002. I took a picture with him. No one around me knew who he was. Everyone was going crazy for the Real World personalities at the club. I was the only person talking to tone. No body even cared or knew who he was. He was just by himself at the bar.

    Man, their use of Van Halen’s Jamie’s Cryin’ still holds up as one of the most tasteful, creative, and fun samples ever. Recognizing something great and doing something a little different with it. It’s right up there with Kanye using Daft Punk.

    I met the guy who helped produce this masterpiece yesterday. He’s an amazing guy, he showed my band around his studio and it was wild, but I’m not going to tell because you’d have to see it for yourself, it really is something special and is a once in a lifetime experience that I’m going to cherish for the rest of my life.

    I was in grade school when this was released and loved that Tonya Harding incorporated this badass track into the 3rd part of her historical triple axel winning skating programs of 1991. Moving forward when anyone goes back to rewatch those skates they’ll forever get a taste of how awesome the 90’s were 💙😎

    Still remembers that year, Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Metallica was on my walkman... but Tone Loc's Wild Thing really had an impact during my teens. Now, that song became my wife's calling tone, yeah!!

    Went saw the I love the 90's concert Saturday night, Tone Loc, Young MC, 2 Live Crew and Vanilla Ice.. Coolio backed out last minute but it was an awesome experience. I'm 41 and remember all these guys growing up.

      @kyfaydfsoab yes well the concert was called " I Love The 90's " it featured 80's and 90's rappers on one stage for a fourt hour show, Coolio and Vanilla Ice we're the headliners but Coolio cancelled out 2 hours before the show so Vanilla Ice did a double set, Young MC did three songs, Tone LOC did three songs each, 2 Live Crew, Color Me Badd and Vanilla Ice finished out the show.
