I liked this until the very end where we went right back to justifying existence by external validation from the guy seeing her succeed. We overcame all of it to end right back where we started. 😔❤
But that's what a lot of people feel at the time. Its part of the journey. Not all art is made and representative of the perfect ending. You are free to like what you like, but I'd look at this (and all art) from the perspective of how effective it was at communicating an idea or feeling, rather than whether the message is morally correct by your standards.
@@hoodyboody I personally prefer art that conveys what the artist learned - ends on a takeaway. So the art inspires growth by example, but it's a personal preference for sure.
But growth doesn't have to be, and often is not linear. There are lessons that we have to learn not only on a thinking level but also on an emotional level.

They can share their own story, which doesn't have to be perfect, doesn't have to be a success story, doesn't have to be anything really. In Poland one artist Mery Spolsky made a poem book and made songs from thoes poems and its amazing piece of art!! I hope Marina will do the same

Some fictions are autobiographical with tweaks in it like baby reindeer and Lolita. The author of Lolita had his csa based on the book
