I’m going to put Booga in a laser tag vest and give him a laser tag laser gun (if I remember to after I finish my essays & compsci stuff tomorrow). It will be specifically the LaserQuest LQX Classic vest & phaser system because that’s what they used at the place I grew up going to and am now nostalgic for. You will almost certainly not be able to tell because the original Booga image is so small.
Hm. Unless… I extract the models and animations and rendering methods from Splatoon 3’s code, somehow get it all to work in Blender or a similar program, and painstakingly match the exact camera settings, angle, and animation frame of the original Booga image to create a perfect high-quality replica to edit the laser tag equipment onto?
Well I’ll consider it, but it’s sure as fuck not happening tomorrow.
