My account was about level 70 when this update came out and I didn’t receive any quests ands now I’m only level 78 and everyone who started weeks after me has caught up
I was level 82 when this came out. I hit level 83 that day and was really excited to get the ships and Bossk shards. But I got one quest -Yes only one quest that shot me from 83 to almost 85. That was it. There were no amazing shards that went with it. The single most important thing for progression on young accounts is the shards because it takes so much time to farm. Now players who got the quests have a 4 star Bossk and I am stuck with a 2 star even though I planned well ahead and was ready to farm him. No one will answer when using the help button. No one will address this in the forums. Its like they just don't care that some players got amazing stuff to progress their accounts and others got next to nothing!
The idea was great for newer players but the rollout was appalling. I just don't get why they made such a mess of this and left many players with nothing. Do the CC's have any avenue to talk to CG about this?
was 77 when the change happened i did not get any quests retro actively after i hit 85 the 3rd day after
i cant wait for the roll out of this stuff for those who were already 85 when this launches cause personally those tie bomber shards would be super helpful
I’m with you nooch didn’t get any of those either. They need to give them to us f2p accounts too I forgot to mention I was only level 67 when they started the new stuff and I haven’t seen some of those quests either
I was level 76 when the update came out and didn't receive any quests, I hit level 78 today and finally started getting quests. Also I got a lot of shards from CG today from community service so I think everything is sorted now
Hey nooch, I understand your frustration with not getting all the rewards that new players are getting. Here is my take at what is going on based on what the EA post was.
When the update went live it appears very few new quests were added but instead rewards were added to quests already in the game. Some of the quests have like 2 shards of a character-like Darth Vader- which would be the original rewards and also like 80 shards of ships- which are the new rewards. So any new account they complete the quest and get all the rewards.
Now for an account that already existed, you probably have already done these quests. Many of them get completed by natural gameplay. So you account probably has flagged the quest complete and rewards given. Anytime a quest is newly issued you see the updated rewards. So its not that accounts aren't getting the quests- its most likely they have already gotten the rewards. Unfortunately they got the "old" rewards and not the "new" rewards.
Seems like the developers knew this would happen kinda. In the update post they put "If you hit level 85 on or after May 22nd to the day of the new player experience release (June 5th), we will be granting you the same rewards as well. This grant will happen at a later date due to it needing a different data pull. " My assumption is they did not fully state/expect that any quests already completed by sub-85 account would not issue rewards when the update went live.
I would expect that when they do the data pull for accounts that hit lvl 85 between may 22 and June 5 the account that are missing some of the rewards will get caught up in that pool of accounts.
I'm not sure when that will be as they have not announced it.
That my look at it anyway. Also as of posting this the account I started when the update went live hit 76 today. Really cool to see how different accounts are progressing.

I started a new account 5 days ago, just hit level 43 today, and haven’t seen the quests for “get 5 characters to 4/5* and gear tier 5/6.” Anyone else starting new accounts and still missing quests? It would have been nice for CG to list out what the quests and rewards are for the new experience. Thankful for the input of others, otherwise I wouldn’t know what I’m missing.
I had a quick look through the comments but I didn't see anyone answer your question about not getting those quests, the answer is you did, you just completed them before the extra rewards were added. Based on what CG said, it will be interested to see if you get rewarded those extras later on.
I started a new account after the changes, currently level 70 after 13 days. Made some videos to track my progress.
11:01 I bought that bundle but for the Phoenix squad, I would NOT have done that had I known the update a day later would give Phoenix squad to new players through quest.
Hey Nooch. Enjoy watching your content. CG did actually say in the post about the new player experience that they would address players in this situation with the rewards at a later date. How well/quickly CG address this is another matter though.
Yeah in the meantime I'm now losing to level 60 players in fleet arena. So there's that
@@NOOCH2GUDbtw I hit level 85 a few days ago, unfortunately you don't really get the quests you missed.. so I never got any captain rex shards or phoenix or any of the ships, all I got really was bossk shards at level 78..I know I got bossk shards but man those other rewards seem to be wayyy better lol. I think what happened was that if you were past a certain level during the update you just won't get the quests from before, which really sucks and I hope they fix that because even at level 85, even though I started on ships early (f2p ofc) I still have yet to get through the zeta mat challenge for dark side ships.
My main turned 85 during the window to getbthe rewards. I didnt get those quests either. Mybalt is 77 and i didnt get there either

I’m also 77, I didn’t get any of those quests either. Been slow after my big jump to 76.
They have sent a lot of shards to players a couple of hours ago which you could get if you check your inbox
i bought a hyperdrive 2days before the update...would have held off if i had known.... i have recieved anything.... my main account also recieved nothing, infact it lost quests
I started my 2nd account a week or two after you and I have already cought up to you I absolutely hate this new level 85 journey I'm farther behind then I should be
Question though, I'm also going after LV on my 2nd acct what's the best light side GL to go after once LV is done excluding rey because my first acct has her
Also do you have to go after a ls and ds gl or can you do both DS GLs

Most of the new stuff was added to pre-existing quest so if you had already completed the quest you did not get the updated rewards thats why it feels so random comparing what you get to other players but from now on all new accounts will get the same rewards. Quests are triggered through level up milestones and completing certain quests. I hope this helps clear your confusion.
It clears confusion but doesnt make me feel any better. Until if/when i get those rewards

@@NOOCH2GUD IMO they should've given rewards out to everyone, even if they'd been 85 for a long time. I have 10m gp accounts in guild that got a ton of extra shards. And I've got people that hit 85 recently that are missing a ton. Seems like terrible planning on what should've been an easy CG W
Now the question is if someone is like lvl 76 or 77 like nooch would it be better to just start over
To get quests...follow current quests. If you went down different path...may not get missing quests yet.
Ive been lvl 85 for years with 11mil gp and im pretty sure i got a lot of these quests. I got close to 30k in shard shop currency from them
I also started a new account and I think the Anakin and ahsoka ships quest is a follow up quest for: Do 1 attempt in Rancor Raid.
Unfortunately I am already in a good guild so I will never get this quest unless I leave my guild for that. What do you guys think? Should I do this?
I believe any raid will count for that quest. I’ve never done the rancor raid but I completed that quest. (Before the changes, still haven’t gotten the anakin/ahsoka ships shards 😢)
You can leave the guild then join it again😂
i was 63 and missed out on so many shards...im now lvl 75 but these new accounts are already passed me in farming. they already have a higher pheonix squad then me star wise*
I was around level 81 when the update came out, I completed all the quest it gave me access to, I'm level 85 now and I never got a single quest for any ships at all.

@@Elinho101 they didnt mentioned any issues coming. So if they will not adress anything in next week that players didnt get rewards or will put a date when they gonna give the stuff I wouldn't panic.

@@DRX183 I get that, however you would think considering players being rewarded later was a competely different sub section and referred to those who 85 post 22nd May, these issues wouldn’t have been a thing.
However it does seem it’s because of previously completed quests so should get cleared up soon.
Didn't CG post that accts not at lvl 85 by May 20th'ish would get those backdated on a future update? Pretty sure they did...
Definitely a "feels bad" moment when you seriously consider scrapping six weeks of progress to restart because you're missing out on those quests.
I was 81 and I only got 1 quest for shards of characters I had already farmed
This the reason I deleted my second account and started a new today
I reached lvl85 2 days ago (started around lvl 73 at the update) I never got any phoenix shards or any ship shards at all. It doesn’t give you the quests you missed at lvl85
My account was the same. I was around 75 and reached 85 with some of the big xp quests. But didn’t get any of the character and ship shards of the earlier lvl quests.

if your lvl 85 already you get some of them but none of the ones they had with great stuff
Just hit level 85 yesterday and I got none of the ship shard quests.
My F2P account is also 77. its rough out here compared to everyone that started fresh. may just restart because who knows when CG will or if ever give us these reward... going to stick it out until 78 (like 1000 more xp but we'll see)

@@guycrew3973 I did start a new one but playing both... however, based on actually having the quests and then the rewards. the newer account seems like it will still be in better shape than my level 78 account. just based on sheer shard amounts i have for certain characters from receiving the drop and the quests
@@r0gers it takes like 2 weeks to reach level 78 so you can abandon the first account if want
@@guycrew3973 Yeah im actually going to play both for a bit. honestly curious what im missing on the 78 account.
So starting Pheonix on one and Imp troopers on the other going to test to see which is more effective with the new drops. going to take them both to 85 and decide which to continue with. they are both alts anyways

My opinion is probably not popular but I think they should do away with player levels. But still level up characters and unlock them the same way as now. When we unlock a new character, its always level 1 even if we are level 85. So why bother with ourselves having to level? We don't fight in battles. The characters do. Sections of the home screen should be unlocked based on our character levels and tiers. Like say, you can't start the 1st galactic war battle until you have a full team of 5 star toons, or whatever. Like the restrictions we see in events.
If you feel that you have missed out on too much, surely you should restart the account to get the full benefit?

Understandable, but, in that case, you may have to just accept the hand you are given.
I think the issue is that you might have already completed some of the quest trees, meaning you won't get the updated ones.

Of course the Nooch2Vader account got the new player update at level 66
and the xp and credits are real roadblocks
I was at 80 upon update, only got the level 78 quests. Now at 85, did NOT get rest of freebies!! This is not cool CG!!
How are these people ranked so high in squad arena. Their teams are barley gear 7

CG said multiple times that players who just started but missed out because of when the event was rolled out will get these rewards at a later date. This video kinda feels like an empty rant without looking at what CG actually wants to do. I am by no means a CG appologist, I will be the first to yell and shout at them, but fair is fair. Half this video is "Its so unfair that I get none of this" which A) you strongly argue against when it comes to lightspeed bundles, which is the same logic, and B) isnt even applicable because ... yes you will get it. They also explicitly said that this would take some time and not happen when the new quests released. Idk man, I usually like your videos but this is just not it.
