Do you have a garden cart you could move a bunch of the little stuff into, out of your way then slide around the big ones? What about the empty space next to the one you just moved. Just stand between the two benches and move pots from the front bench back there. I can’t lift the big ones but have the advantage of being a lady. Ladies ask for help. 😆Anyone comes to my house gets recruited right away for at least one of what I call the 5 minute projects.

I do have a garden cart. In fact the trees that were on the lower bench that I moved out of the way to pull the wire mesh up went on that cart. It shouldn't' take long to get the cypress grove to the front of the bench. It will also give a chance to get a little better organized.

@ I should have thought about the rest of the plants you had moved. I hope to have enough plants by next winter that I actually need to get organized. Question: when do you dig up wild trees? Several pines and elms on the edge of my forest I am mentally picturing as bonsai.

@@MamaJArk Temperate trees need to be dug when they are dormant in late winter just before they begin new growth. Since I've lived in zone 10 for 50 years I can't tell you when that would be for your area. Do you have a local bonsai club? They would be the best source for info on that.
