    Great video. My biggest worry about ESIR is if there are more than 1 resident in your grad year that is applying for ESIR.

    Hello! Great video! Can you also explain about the alternative way if I’ll do a residence in Europe. Here at first you should do diagnostic radiology which lasts 54 months and than intervention radiology which lasts 24hours. How I can do IR in USA?

    Hi Yasha, thanks for this!!. I have a question regarding doing IR. Can we do IR fellowship after getting board certified? I mean like going through alternate ABR pathway of completing fellowship/faculty for 4 years-- get board certified and then join IR fellow?? OR can we get IR fellow/residency while being on the alternate ABR pathway? I would really appreciate if you clarify this to me. Thanks

    What do you mean by "you can do interventions without being an interventional radiologist"

    Hey! I have a question about Neuro IR.
    Do you know if there’s a pathway from the Integrated IR residency -> Neuro fellowship? Or does we need to do Radiology residency -> Neurorads fellow -> endo vascular training.

      most NIR fellowships require neuroradiology but I believe it is not completely impossible to do the IR route instead - just much, much less common.

    How do we prepare our resume/what activities should we participate in during med school so we’re competitive for radiology residency programs?

    • @YashaGuptaMD
      @YashaGuptaMD  3 года назад +1

      leadership activities, volunteer activities, research - basically have something for every section of ERAS!

    Mam, according to many all IR procedures are being done by respective specialities... Is there a future for IR?

    • @YashaGuptaMD
      @YashaGuptaMD  3 года назад +1

      IR definitely shares some procedures with other specialties but I would say, if anything, IR is doing more and more procedures lately :)
