Let me just say since you were attacked by the dog. The dog shoukd have been leashed. Yes. But the dog should also have been to obedience school. If you start with a dog as soon as you get them teaching them they won’t act a fool. The owners are at fault for having a dog who would attack. Oh my gosh especially a child. That’s nuts. I’m sorry to say this, better an adult than that child. I’m really sorry that happened to you. I’m really sorry the dog has irresponsible owners. That’s terrible. The dog can still be taught. Dogs only act a fool if the owner isn’t responsible.
God bless. So glad it wasn’t worse for you and the child. My nephew got bitten in the face by a German Shepard puppy one time. He got stitches. He was about 5. His momma was letting my nephew walk around with a piece of cake in his hand outside. The dog belong to his grand parents. He was a puppy and my in laws were so irresponsible they weren’t teaching the dog any manners. Dogs need to know boundaries. They love to learn.

2021 2 of us rv'ers had issues to a motorcycle rally camp. Me: fuel pump in truck went out on the way to getting my camper. 3 day delay & tow expenses. Friends: 3 of 4 tires blew out not at once). Ripped a hole in the rv floor behind the side with 2 tires blown. Then blocks from the camp site, they gassed up, got ice and made it hours later. As checking in, realized her wallet was missing (with credit cards, IDs & lots of cash for the rally. Went went looking, but never found it. She canceled all the cards and we friends helped with expenses including checking in. 4 weeks later the wallet showed up in the mail at her house. Everything still in side including the $300+ cash !!! A kid found it on highway clean up, saw the ID and mailed it. He got a nice tip. We all did have fun the rest of the week at the campgrounds even though. There were 12 of us in our group.

Holy cow, what a story! That kid was amazing…most folks would have just pocketed the cash. Man, when it happens…it really does happen in 3s! And 4s…and 5s…🤦🏼‍♂️

Well I've never heard of an issue with Battleborn before. That is super scary. Glad they took care of you. Awning nightmares are one of my biggest fears. We've not had that happen yet. Angelina, that is the scariest of them all. One tire blowout let alone three is also one of our biggest fears but has not yet happened yet. Super great video guys entertaining and educational. Our horror story starts with a ghost story.
We had dinner at a “haunted” restaurant near Deming, NM. We also got a tour with ghost stories included. The restaurant was even featured in one or two Ghost Hunter TV shows. Upon leaving, our Ford Maverick wouldn’t start. Completely dead. No power whatsoever. While getting my tools out, it suddenly came back to life. It started up just fine. Three days later, the night before leaving the park I hooked up the truck to the RV so all I had to do in the morning was run it for a little while and shift in neutral for towing. Well, it was dead again in the morning and there was nothing I tried that worked. It was dead. So we called Ford and they towed it 50+ miles to Las Cruces, NM. The Ford dealer told us that it could be a few weeks before they would be able to fix it. Oh well. They hooked us up with a rental and we continued our trip to Phoenix and then the Grand Canyon. A week in the Truck was transported to El Paso because the first dealership couldn’t work on it in a timely manner. After 2 weeks we were told the truck was fixed. New battery. By that time, we were near Hoover Dam and so I took the rental and drove to El Paso. I got the truck and drove it back. I stopped twice and it started without issue. On my third stop at the Petrified Forest Visitor Center, it was dead again. This time I was able to start it and I made it back safe. I contacted my Ford guy about that, and he arranged for us to drop the truck off in Reno a week later. We continued our trip and even drove the truck through the Death Valley. I used my “Solar Generator” to keep the 12-volt battery charged. So, we didn’t really have any further issues. That is until leaving Death Valley. Going through the mountains there we somehow managed to burn and destroy the breaks on the truck. It was kind of interesting to park that thing on our one stop where I had to disconnect the truck from the RV. But I managed. Three weeks into the ordeal we dropped the truck off in Reno and went to spend some time with my wife’s aunt who lives not far from Carson City. Two days after dropping the truck off, I got a phone call from the dealer, informing me that they had had an accident with the truck. The front was destroyed and in total three vehicles were damaged. It took another three weeks for the dealership to make things right and put us into a brand-new Ford Ranger. Well, our and the dealership’s definition of making things right is not quite aligned, but we have a vehicle again. I installed the towing kit myself because I really didn’t want to wait for anyone to do it for us and potentially spend even more time in Nevada. Good thing we were flexible in our travel plans, but it’s not something I want to do again. When I emptied the truck of our belongings, I did have a stern talk with the ghost. I hope he is nice to whoever owns the truck now.

We found out the other day you can’t turn too sharp with your Gen-Y hitch. Ended up snapping a link in the safety chain. Luckily it was a link at the end of the chain. Made a loud bang. You know everything comes in threes so we missed the turn to the campground in Dawson Creek so no problem just take the next turnaround. Bad idea the 5th wheel ended up in the ditch on the driver side. No problem put the truck in 4WD and pull it out. Another bad idea middle jack was bent.

    • @NoSticksNoBricks

The sewer pipe cover got knocked off and filled with dirt but didn’t get broken. The third thing that happened was at a Petro-Canada station where the third AC got partially damaged by the overhead. Was able to fix that.

Watching the wayward ways and we have a similar situation. We were camping and had our won and his girlfriend with us. About 0200 my so. Pounds on the door and yells we are sinking. There is water everywhere. The kitchen sink was overflowing all over the floor. What we found ,quickly than god, was we had left a bag of bathroom things next to the toilet and when my son’s girlfriend flushed the bag held the peddle down. Who would have known that when the black tank fills up it flows into the grey. Was crazy. 😅

As to your next video, always carry bear spray when outside of your RV. I have a Great Dane who's a big goof, but would never let him off leash in public. He's too enthusiastic and wants to be friends with everyone. Even if he were a Chihuahua, he would be on leash.

Hi Jason and Jennifer! I couldn’t make and comments on your video they were turned off. I wanted to say how how sorry I was about you being attacked by a German Shepard. We used to have one of them the dogs. She never got aggressive just didn’t like men because as pup she got burned on the forehead. She good though even with me. She let me as a child ride on her like a horse. Took in stride. She got along with our other dog. I was almost attacked by 2 dogs at different times in my neighborhood one few months ago. I just held up my hand as a stop sign and dog cried and ran back to my neighbor who called him. The other one I made it into the house in time. I got lucky. Glad the dog didn’t hurt the little girl worse or kill her. Or you. Hope you are doing well and getting better. I don’t know why people don’t put their dogs on leashes when they know the rules. It gets me afraid to walk anymore. But I hope you’re OK and how was your tetanus shot? I haven’t had one in a long time. They keep asking me when I go to the doctor if I get a cut, they wanna know, but my tetanus. You take care get better soon!
