Intake manifold looks identical to my 1050 ("1.1L"). Gives me hope the weber carb swap kit can be fitted simply by replacing the carb flange to the other style
hi, how do you remove/secure the bolts that hold the flange in, theres nothing in the Haynes manual or that i can see on the internet, i'm beginning to think its impossible ha,
Hi guys as someone on here also asked do you have any tips for removing the nuts off the bottom of the manifold - is it easy enough reach under and do it by feel with a ratchet or spanner?
A lot has been done since the last video on it so we will do a update video. It was running on cbr600 carbs but Peter changed his mind and is now trying to get it running on Weber's.
Cheers guys, great to see this before dismounting the carb on my Golf 2. Looks much easier than I expected.

This is 6 months late but they’re sometimes nutted to the underneath of the engine manifold

We just reached from the top with a 10mm rachet spanner and got them off like that, took ages but was really the only way.
