Regardless of whether Tumblety was a real doctor or Jack the Ripper or not... YOU my man are one of hell of a story teller... Good stuff...Thanks for sharing!!!!
I appreciate you typically end with God Bless…. We all need more blessings from our God… no matter the religion that is followed. God’s Blessings to you Lamont and travel safe.
The fact that Scotland Yard followed him to America shows he must be a good suspect! Believe he had some trinkets suspected of being taken from some of the victims! Great video man, recent subscriber
This man is one of the suspects in the case we had to break down in a college paper....all aspects of the entire case were just amazing, yet gruesome. If only we had the technology back then. Wonderful video Lamont, Thank you. RIP to all the victims.
theres a youtuber named Lemino who did a 1 hour+ documentary on Jack The Ripper recently, I'd suggest checking it out for anyone who wants to hear all about the case and about a few specific suspects
There's also a book called'Prisoner 1167: The Madman Who Was Jack The Ripper'. Author James Tully had built -up a case after going through records of the Broadmoor Hospital in London, certain files had been suspiciously removed. Supposedly the police knew who he was, a hothead who'd threatened to kill his first wife in a drunken rage, many other incidents to follow. He'd come across as very congenial, but was criminally insane. His name was James Kelly. There aren't even hospital records to show where he was buried. His file is not available to the public until 2030. He'd escaped from the Broadmoor Hospital. He'd died in 1929. It's been a while since I'd read the book, but I believe he'd started out as an upholsterer, and had in his possession tools that could have been used to mutilate the bodies in the way that it was done.
I Love It Lamont,Wow I Could Literally Spend All Day Watching These Graveyard Videos Of Yours So Amazing. Thanks So Much And Please Continue With These.
I agree with you. Scotland Yard later believed that the Royal family's physician. However, there about Jack the Ripper that supposedly committed similar murders in New York, England, France and Germany as well.
Thankyou Lamont interesting vidi I am English and have watched many documentaries on this subject and their are lots of people that have come under suspicion for committing these murders but no one really ever has concrete profits a shame tho that as in most cases like this it's the murderer that gets remembered and not the victims
My neibour just killed 3 of her kids yesterday night. Twins sister age 4 and their sister 8 year old. They moved here to new zealand from south africa just a wk ago. Both parents are Doctors. I belive the dad was working that night when she killed the siblings.
Well done video as always Lamont. I know some don't know this but there were five cases known as the Canonical Five though his third victim, Elizabeth Stride, some don't think she was because of only having a single knife wound to her neck while the second in the "double event" was mutilated quite horrifically. These five including the youngest, Mary Jane Kelly, are attributed mostly to Jack the Ripper. Poor Mary was literally butchered in the privacy of her own room. She was only 25. Every time I hear about the Ripper murders I shudder. May all his victims Rest in Peace. 🙏
Lamont I kid you not driving home today 8pm UK time I live a short walk from the cemetery where Jack The Rippers last victim is buried ( also my grandmother is buried there and my nephew ashes) as I drove by I said to myself I wonder if Lamont would ever visit this cemetery (because of Jack the Ripper) when I got in I check for any new videos has been posted and was surprised when I saw Jack the Ripper I thought I have to tell this Lamont
Lamont I was so shocked when you aired this story on RUclips. Rochester NY , is my hometown. Been here from birth to date never heard of this Doctor or what he was thought to me. As I've already said you keep doing what your doing. You are truly in your element. 👏
You named your channel well Lamont, that was fascinating. I never heard that story before, thank you for educating me. I think the evidence is pretty overwhelming; a jar of uterus's? That would be weird if he was a doctor.
I must say again Lamont, you are a great historian. You don't miss a beat and you remember all the pertinent information about the case you are describing.
One way they could of been able to tell was if the murders have stopped once he was gone. Lol . You are one of the best storytellers Lamont!👍🏾 Love your channels!
I used to live up around Rochester. Surprising as to how few people know about this. But after I heard the HH Holmes story, I think that Holmes is even more of a possibility then even Tumblety
HH Holmes apparently is a more likely candidate for Jack the Ripper this is neat I had only heard this guy was a suspect didnt know he had trinkets Thanks Lamont great video
I think that he's a more likely candidate than some of the other men I've heard of. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that we'll ever know but how sad that everyone knows about him, who can name all his poor victims? No one deserves to die that way
Mary Nichols, Annie Chapman, Lizzie Stride, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Kelly. And no, I didn't need to look it up. I actually suspect my gr gr grandfather was Jack the Ripper ;) He emigrated to New Jersey in January 1889.
Great video Lamont. Serial killers don't stop they either move to new location, get caught or die. If there were unsolved murder cases once he got back to USA in the locations he was near. I would assume that it could be him. I do remember vaguely hearing about an American doctor and upon return to America murders started up in America.
Now you’re speaking my language!!! Big Ripper aficionado. I definitely think the Ripper moved here and sure didn’t stop killing. I thought H.H. Holmes for a while but now I don’t. I’ve also always thought he was a surgeon or doctor. .
I’m a ripperologist. At first I believed it was plausible that Francis Tumblety could have been the ripper, but as you look at the evidence, it became clear he likely wasn’t. I did enjoy researching his life and exploits, he was definitely a colourful character.
Hi Lamont I know you are interested in unsolved murders. Well in the 70s there were 2 unsolved murders that have never been solved in Rochester NY.. One was a 14 year old named , Brenda Shaw. Her body was discovered in the Genesee River. And I remember 3 I think girls age 10 was murdered. What made their murders so interesting is all 3 , girls had the same initials for their first and last names. One was Wanda Wallowich and another's initials was , M , M . I forgot what the other girl initials were. These cases were never solved.
He is definitely one of the most viable suspects - some of the others (Dr Cream, Prince Eddy, Montague Druitt) are simply ridiculous or easily proved to be wrong. Tumbelty was a very strange man and it was well known among people who knew him that he hated women.
And another great story u told, to some people who never heard of this man or didn't know who they had in mind who did those murders?? Txs again Lamont
Regardless of whether Tumblety was a real doctor or Jack the Ripper or not... YOU my man are one of hell of a story teller... Good stuff...Thanks for sharing!!!!
Exactly why I watch his videos everyday
Better chance that H H Holmes was JTR.
If you ever make it to London, definitely take the Jack The Ripper night tour.
They don’t have that anymore. Haven’t for a while
@@TNcatlover33 really? Maybe due to the previous Lockdown.
Went on a Jack The Ripper Tour in 2008. I really enjoyed it. It was very interesting.
@@audreygervais8508 I've never been but definitely want to if and when they resume them.
I took the tour three years ago and it was fabulous!
Jack the ripper is a interesting topic
Best storyteller on RUclips hands down! Thank You for another Wonderful video Lamont.
I appreciate you typically end with God Bless…. We all need more blessings from our God… no matter the religion that is followed. God’s Blessings to you Lamont and travel safe.

My son has been talking about going to locate this guy. I’ll have to show him your video.
It'll remain one of life's mysteries
This case and Lizzy Borden. Another interesting case I follow.
I always heard that Jack the Ripper was British Royalty. 🤷♀️
This man is one of the suspects in the case we had to break down in a college paper....all aspects of the entire case were just amazing, yet gruesome. If only we had the technology back then. Wonderful video Lamont, Thank you. RIP to all the victims.
Don't worry about Man's futile technology...God won't let Jack the Ripper go unpunished
There’s an interesting story about HH Holmes and based on what I’ve heard about him, I think he’s an even more likely candidate.
Yes! I belive Holmes was Jack the Ripper. With what he did with the Murder House and he did there and Holmes was in London.
Agreed. I also think it was Holmes.
Your videos are always very interesting! 👍👍👍
Thank you Lamont for another great story 😊
I love your stories ! I could listen to them all day
I think his identity will forever be a mystery. Great vid though Lamont!
Not much has changed in Whitechapel lol😆another awesome video Lamont 👍👍
What a beautiful cemetery. So green with nice tell trees
Lamont my favorite RUclipsr!
I just close my eyes 👁️👁️ and listen to your chosen storytelling. Great job 😊
U r the best story telling thank u for all thses amazing graves u visit n tell us the story
theres a youtuber named Lemino who did a 1 hour+ documentary on Jack The Ripper recently, I'd suggest checking it out for anyone who wants to hear all about the case and about a few specific suspects
Fun fact the police apprehending him in St. Louis was used as the basis for the Judy Garland classic Meet Me in St. Louis
Another interesting video Lamont. 👍

He is not Jack the Ripper - DNA has linked it to be a hairdresser named Aaron Kosminski
Great videos. I'm currently going down the rabbit hole... Ill be here awhile

This is just one of the many reasons we need to invent time travel.
I can agree with that
Absolutely.
Sure
Omg,wouldn't that be great 👍
Absolutely not
I don't know, but your commentary was very good about this man.
Its amazing how they even cought criminals..with not fingerprints nor DNA ...
i love both your channels!

Interesting story, you did some really great research!
Well done video as always Lamont.

Lamont, you're a regular HISTORY PROFESSOR, LOL!
Great storytelling, FG! Excellent camera shots in conjunction with the dialogue.
Dna studies have proven Aaron Kosminski a Polish Jewish immigrant living in London was the real jack the ripper.
So much interesting history even about the presidents. Informative channel.
Love this Lamont

Love how you tell a story
Thank you :)
I like the David Cohen theory the most for being Jack the Ripper
I'm with u
7:59 This is the actual crime scene photograph of final victim Mary Kelly.
Very interesting.. great video. Be safe out there.

I heard H. H. Holmes was the REAL Jack the Ripper!! 🤔
I suspected him for a long long while
I heard that too but have since watched a doco explaining why it wasn't him. Don't remember what they said though.
@@lokilove868 they did say it wasn't H H Holmes but then they change their minds.. And said Yes!!..H H Holmes is Jack the Ripper!! 🙄
@@horrorfanrikki7993 Not the one I watched, they pretty much eliminated him as a suspect. I suppose it all depends on who's making the documentary.
I wanted him to be but it’s been proven multiple times that he isn’t. Holmes great great grandson done a documentary on it and proved he wasn’t.
Mt hope cemetery in Rochester has even more history…. Fredrick Douglas, Susan B Anthony and more
Great story. H H Holmes possibly the Riper as well
You named your channel well Lamont, that was fascinating. I never heard that story before, thank you for educating me. I think the evidence is pretty overwhelming; a jar of uterus's? That would be weird if he was a doctor.
Movies always show him having a Medical license a real Doctor

Damn I didn’t know you did a bunch of vids in Rochester. You should have done a fan meet up !
Jack the Ripper was from London....
Jack the Ripper had always been a very interesting topic to me
Can't believe it's still never been solved all this time but it's a part of our history
I think that he's a more likely candidate than some of the other men I've heard of. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that we'll ever know but how sad that everyone knows about him, who can name all his poor victims? No one deserves to die that way

The "other" Jack the Ripper is buried in Nunhead Cemetery London

Another Ripper suspect. Never heard of this one before. Very interesting.
May those woman rest in peace and one day get justice on judgement day as the killer will be judged by God💐💐💐💐💐
Hello from Rochester NY
I wonder if it might be possible for a victim of Jack the ripper to be exhumed to try and get DNA
I think you hit that nail on the head Lamont, 99% he's the guy
