So grounded when he says he would pinch himself about his journey. He is in a good place and glowing in this interview. Thank you for the music, William!
Yep ... having kids has totally cleared his head ... I was just watching some older interviews like 2013 about Oceania on q ... he was always so tangled up before - “ they think that I think that They think .,, and why don’t they appreciate this or that ...” he’s let all that go ... simplified it down ... just keeping his head down on the music and going about his business. Good on ya Billy - keep on rocking. Love ya man.
I've followed him since I begged my mom to buy Siamese Dream at Sam Goody's in Northbrook Court. I think having kids has made him the guy he was always meant to be.
What an awesome interview! Interviewer does it all the right way and he's amazingly down to earth for a dude of that sorta status. Makes me smile seeing he's looking good too :D
I love doing the same thing! If I really enjoy a band, I go to try and listen to all sorts of their songs on every album! The whole journey is amazing in my opinion....and you can learn from the hits and misses as well, great advice here.
I remember your random live videos from route 66 and the interviews you were doing, seemed like you were on a bit of a philosophy binge. I didn't know you were going through a crisis though, stay strong, keep it simple, don't over-analyse :)
She kinda reminds me of Amy Schumer so yeah I’d totally try to hit it lol lastly good interview the pumpkins were a big part of my youth as well as many many others
Always That one dunce, such a pathetic comment obviously you were trained by the posture nobility ?? Maybe you need to work on your manners! Also note how tall billy is!
I lost all respect for billy www.google.com/amp/s/consequenceofsound.net/2018/02/darcy-wretzky-shares-text-messages-as-proof-that-billy-corgan-is-lying-about-smashing-pumpkins-reunion-offer/amp/
Please get over it already. It's old news. What you're bringing up happened a year ago. You lost respect for him? I'm sure he will be just fine without you.
And I will be just fine without any new Pumpkins. I have a right to my opinion on the matter. He most definitely deserves to be recognized for his musical genius and driving force behind the band's creation. But the collaboration of all members is what makes that band it's authentic self. Billy will live on forever, as he should. But the Smashing Pumpkins are dead to me. That is all

Smashing Pumpkins are still my favorite band of all time!
Very talented. Huge catalog.
Huge

My favorite forever! And I'm SO excited at the prospect of a Nashville gig!
He seems so happy right now!! I am so glad!!
What an awesome interview! Interviewer does it all the right way and he's amazingly down to earth for a dude of that sorta status. Makes me smile seeing he's looking good too :D
My wife and I ran into billy in a hallway once........she scared him off
My hero.
Hi! Love your channel, dude. You have good taste in music, too!
Aw the classic WPC head and ear rubs. Gotta love it
Jen Ship 2:30
@@BradyA1124 thanks! I hope someone someday makes a compilation video of him doing just that the entire time.
What an odd thing to notice. I'm huge fan and watch every interview he does, and i've never noticed :P ya freakin' weirdoes!
Good intereview Hayley.
It's great to see _HIM_ again!
I grew up on the Pumpkins. I didn’t know he did solo. I feel like a piece of shit now. But also. I’m already listening to it now.. thank you for this
The 30 days trip was awesome!
Did i heard right. 21 new pumpkins songs!!!! Can t wait!!!

Cant wait for new LP.
I love doing the same thing! If I really enjoy a band, I go to try and listen to all sorts of their songs on every album! The whole journey is amazing in my opinion....and you can learn from the hits and misses as well, great advice here.
For once in an interview, he seems like a genuinely cool guy.
Jamie Yanda With the right host he thrives. He was great when he was on the JRE.
fatherhood is really helping billy, im happy for him
great interview, no pressure applied.. just chillin with the man himself.
God her boots are amazing
I imagine Billy's plans for 2020 changed since this interview. Good stuff.
Amy Schumer with black hair...
Hot Sauce Benny my thoughts exactly
Hahahaha true. I was thinking the same
The female interviewer is a 10. So gorgeous. Billy is great as always
Loved his music growing up. Feels weird for me to be raising teenagers while he's raising toddlers lol
So glad he clarified the ma'am word!
...
♥️
Who else thought HEAVY METALLLL HEAVY METAL MACHINE when he said metal machine lol
Always an interesting interviewee
im only 1:10 in, i can tell shes really nervous but is doing a great job nonetheless!!!
Ran into them last night at supper
Yeah... How'd that go?
What documentary is she talking about?
I hope the new album has some heavier stuff on it. Not saying I want the 90s pumpkins but I want pumpkins raw rock songs. Something aggressive.
Not into the music but he is a very cool dude
What’s with the Al Bundy arm chairs.. 80s revival for sure.
WPC is my hero
Whiny Patrick Corgan?
Jaquim Anacleto yup
Billy: perpetually unimpressed.

This interview shows the true meaning of one ""foot" away
Thicc cutie.
If you do play Nashville this year, don't do it at Bridgestone Arena. The acoustics there suck.
Sounds like Rubin didn't help him too much/
He almost doesn't look at her ever. Strange.
Daniel Sacilotto That’s not very strange at all my dude, your over analyzing.
you can skip to 01:23 The previous part is pure bs
Amy Schumer?
Way cuter than Amy Schumer.
You beat me to it. Congratulations,
She kinda reminds me of Amy Schumer so yeah I’d totally try to hit it lol lastly good interview the pumpkins were a big part of my youth as well as many many others
Billy needs to work on his posture....
Always That one dunce, such a pathetic comment obviously you were trained by the posture nobility ?? Maybe you need to work on your manners! Also note how tall billy is!
Wtf does that even mean? He can sit however he wants tf
He's super tall so...
That's something people have been telling him his whole life. He's got a bit of a hunch. And he's pigeon toed. It's just who he is
The discolored hands is messing with me, blood flow issues, maybe go for a checkup.
It's a birthmark, he's alright :)
He’s leaning on his left arm, thus keeping the blood from flowing out of his hand. That’s why it’s red compared to the right hand.
@@jamesestrada82 Wrong, its a birth mark. His first band was called The Marked, because of the birthmark.
Pumpkins reunion is nothing without Darcy in my opinion
Do you still care for someone who felt on drugs and she doesn't realise that she has a problem?. Dude GROW UP.
I lost all respect for billy

Watch the beats radio 1 interview billy James and jimmy did w/ zack Lowe. Then you can come back and talk to me about a reunion being nothing w/o her.
